I’ve driven by this place for years and never realized it was here. Stopped in after a long day of work, absolutely starving. The staff were all super friendly—Casey, in particular, was incredibly kind to us, especially my daughter. The food was fantastic. The fish and chips really hit the spot, and both the Brussels sprouts and wings were top-notch. The full bar looked great, too. I’ll definitely have to come back during some “adult time” to check it out properly. It’s always tough to find a well-made Old Fashioned—guess we’ll see!
The food and drinks were excellent. The service was excellent! The only thing was that the music was so loud we could hardly hear each other. The music was great just a bit too loud.
first off I gotta say that the food is amazing especially if its strictly in house made and theres nothing better than starting off an easter sunday with the thickest mozz sticks you can ever have, the freshest hand cut fries and tenders w honey bbq and i was close to asking for seconds of it al to be honest on another note, I'd like to s/o haylie and shes amazing and wonderful, everything that personifies customer service and whats missing in it today....i also wanna point out that i had the pleasure of her service when she was at westside wood n tap up from where i used to live and her being there and im up the street again in agawam... its not often you get blessed twice and nothings by accident and it was really nice to see her today and that shes in a greater space as well as myself, i love and appreciate you haylie and keep doing what you doing 💛🤗
Fed me raw chicken.
The on-campus restaurant for burgers, chicken tenders and milkshakes. It's a pretty solid place and you will get exactly what you expect. There is also one in the McNary Dinning hall. If you don't know what else to eat, eat at Calabloo's.
Best chicken strips on campus but kinda expensive
West is the best in OSU
Relative to every other dining option at West, Calabaloo's opens earlier and stays open later (8:30pm usually). Mostly everything else but the deli and convenience store is closed, but you can almost always get something from Calabaloo's. They usually have an interesting rotation of limited-time options like tatertots and specialty burgers.
