I got the avocado breakfast bagel and it was delicious! The decor was nice to look at while waiting, but my drink was pretty underwhelming. I got a strawberry Italian soda and it was just canned sparkling water and a little syrup concentrate. It was fine but not worth the 3.50.

I've been coming to Interzone for 9 years, pretty consistently. It has always been a good spot to read, have casual meetings, and people watch on Monroe. The food is pretty good and the coffee is actually my favorite in Corvallis. Unfortunately, though, the service has dramatically gone down hill in recent years. I've worked in food service my whole life, so I try to be as understanding and patient as I can be. Some things are 100% avoidable, though, and they are running right into them. My orders are remembered 25-50% of the time, even if I was the only one in the cafe and ordered a simple Americano. There is no accountability on the staff's side and no perceived desire to fix this issue. If you read other reviews, you'll see forgetting orders is not rare.
If you're in a rush, don't come here.
If you don't want to pay attention to whether or not your drink / food will be made, don't come here.
If you like queer spaces, come here.
If you have all the time, come here.
The owner is great.
Not worth it anymore, sadly.

To the barista who hollered “Meter maiiiid!!
” when the parking enforcement person was ticketing folks outside - thank you for the public service announcement so I could get to my car before I got a ticket!!! I hope both sides of your pillows are always cool ??? (also the sandwich, coffee, and vibes were wonderful)

Interzone has the absolute best coffee in Corvallis. Their baked goods are equally satisfying. Everyone is warmly welcomed and one never leaves disappointed. A true highlight of Monroe street.

I love this place, I come most weekends and some of the baristas remember me which I find very sweet! The one thing is that I wish their wifi worked on my laptop, for some reason most sites don’t work for me on either wifi which is unfortunate as it’s otherwise my favorite study spot and very cozy. I hope one day it can start working :(

Decent food, prepared quickly. The veggie sandwich (on a bagel) was served upside down and seemed to be missing its seasoning. Still quite tasty, though. College town/90s cafe vibes. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-10

I've been coming to Interzone for over a decade, and they never disappoint! Their breakfast scrambles are incredible, and my favorites are the Greek sandwich, veggie Mac n cheese, and the Coco Bango Latte. Their scones are super yummy too! All-vegetarian kitchen! Not only is the food and coffee delicious, but the atmosphere is so cozy and eclectic. There's new artists' works on the walls every month, murals and lots of hidden joys around the shop. This business is so supportive of local art!!!! Bill (owner) is incredibly sweet, and is always attentive ~ here every morning m-f. Every person who has worked here has been so kind and friendly. Great service!I highly recommend both visitors and community members alike to visit this gem in Corvallis. It's been here for 25 years, and I'm so glad they persevered through the pandemic.

Interzone is my favorite place to eat in the city. It is a great space to work from and relax in.The baristas are friendly, The cooks are warm and welcomes compliments on their Cuisine The first time I ordered breakfast at interzone, the chef told me they were an amateur beginning and I was floored by how well composed the meal was. The cremini mushrooms were springy. The potatoes were cooked to a perfect texture and the avocado was of the highest quality. The Mexican mocha is stimulating and robust, And they have chess boards, zines, and local art there. I almost forgot to mention one of the most important menu features at interzone, vegetarian best friendly
