Having been a huge fan of bellhop I was super sad to see them go, and highly suspicious of another Italian inspired menu fill their slot… but dinner here was amazing. Really delicious pasta, good selection of shareables, and fantastic service. Even the pricing was generous with 50% off wine bottles with a 2 pasta dinner. Loved it. Unfortunately they also had a perfect tiramisu, so they had to roll me out of the restaurant, but ce la vie I guess.

My husband and I have eaten at Lucca a few times now and our experience has been outstanding!
It's pretty rare that when we go to a restaurant everything on the menu is beyond our expectations. The food is creative, approachable, and satisfying.
We highly recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I tried Lucca Taverna for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were very happy with the experience. The food was quite delicious and we ordered a variety of small dishes to share. The cuisine is interesting and I found the combinations a bit challenging to mix (pasta with marinara along with shawarma with tahini), so the customer may want to choose dishes to pair carefully. That said, it was all extremely well-prepared. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The service was also good. Attentive and pleasant wait staff, food and drinks arrived quickly, we were asked how our food was, if they could bring anything more, fill water, etc. I don't take these things for granted in today's world where in many restaurants service has declined. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, although some of the tables are very close to others, which is not our preference. That is my only nit-picking negative. We will definitely go back and are glad to have this upscale-ish restaurant in Corvallis.

Chris, the host at our Fullerton wine tasting, recommended Lucca Taverna to us on a Sunday evening. Lucca did not disappoint! The pasta was excellent, as was the service. Definitely repeatable!

Small plate restaurant that serves delicious Italian/Mediterranean food made from locally sourced farms. The only downside is that sometimes items get sold out.
My party had a chance to try most of the items on the menu. Everything was great, but the Greek salad was a little boring—no olives? We all loved the lamb dishes. Arancini tasted great, but the marinara it is served in is too strong and clashes flavors. I nitpick a little, but I'm happy to order those dishes again.
I look forward to returning.

Overall it is definitely a good upscale restaurant but maybe because we arrived pretty late on a holiday there were a few nitpicks. Even though there were only four tables of people total the server told us they would drop off one cocktail then they’d be right there to take our order then we waited around ten minutes for them to come back around again, so maybe they were a little understaffed that holiday. The drinks were ok, maybe a little unbalanced in flavor profile. No qualms with the quality of the kitchen, it’s definitely a place with high quality fresh ingredients and sophisticated cooking technique! One thing to be aware of is that it is definitely aiming for luxury high-end restaurant so for example when you order deviled eggs, it’s amazing but you’re paying $12 for one single egg cut in half, just with super nice presentation and toppings.

Our party tried a variety of dishes, I think about seven different items. All of them were excellent. We will definitely come back to try some of the others. The server was pleasant and attentive. The menu is compact but there is something for everyone. We didn't try the desserts but they looked really good based on the menu descriptions. I have only one negative comment; It was very noisy inside. I'm not sure if that was due to acoustics of the room or unduly noisy patrons but it was difficult for our party to have a conversation.
Great food! Nice ambience! Good service!

I have been here a few times and have loved the food. Tonight, I took a friend, who had never been there, to Lucca for his birthday. We had great food and enjoyed a quiet late afternoon/evening. I gladly spent a significant amount over 2 5 hours. After paying our tab, we were asked if we could leave soon to accommodate a larger group. I was stunned. I have love Castor over the years and been a loyal customer. I will hesitate to return to Lucca, even though I have loved the food.

Most disappointing. Beef kabob had one good piece of meat, rest of meat was mostly gristle. The lamb ragu had a huge chunk of pure fat. I wish we had taken a photo of the meats.

My husband & I have gone back several times because we love the warm atmosphere and delicious dishes! The grilled octopus is amazing with bright & hearty romesco that we almost licked off our plates. A bite of romesco with parsley & the octopus with a bit of char was delightful! The smoked rockfish & celeriac salad also knocked out socks off! The salty fish with celeriac & nuts...we could never have enough! We are so excited to taste everything on the menu & continue to make Lucca Taverna a regular spot to enjoy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful food with us.
This was our first dinner experience at Lucca and we were very pleased. Our server, Ally, was delightful. Her enthusiasm for the fresh, local and sustainable ethos of Lucca really excited us about dinner. She did a great job explaining the dishes to help us choose an entree and she paired each of our meals with the perfect glass of wine. My husband, who typically doesn't like lamb, had the lamb kebab based on Ally's description, and he loved it. I had the orecciette with lamb and it was fabulous. The prices are very reasonable, the food was amazing, and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back@
