What a pleasant surprise this place was! I started with the Lupe Margarita which was uniquely delicious and flavorful...your tastebuds were treated to a salted rim with a hint of cayanne, and the drink itself was complex and yummy. Five stars to start. For my entree, I ordered the only Peruvian dish on the menu...Aji Gallina. This was slow cooked gently spiced chicken over garlic potatoes and rice. It was fabulous. I like my food on the spicy side so our server brought over a cruet of home made spicy sauce. This was the real deal...hot...but complex and wonderful. I elected to put a dollop on my plate and grab a little with my fork on each bit. I will be back!

I ordered the camarones Maya. The sauce was so delicious, I wanted to lick my plate. I requested no beans or rice and the server offered to substitute those with salad, which was simple, very fresh and tasty. Overall, my server was very thoughtful and attentive and the ambience is very inviting--neither too casual nor too pretentious. I left feeling like I treated myself without overpaying.

Lupe's is a great place to eat and have a delicious beverage. My husband and I popped in to eat before the OSU v. UCLA game, and they did not disappoint! The service was on point and the food on point. I recommend their take on a Chile Rellano!

Gotta say not a food critic but what a delicious authentic Yucatán dish ?. Love but love the food, atmosphere, fresh delicious exquisite food and the service was extraordinary to the top!
