No complaints with the food or staff. Just this: the hard cider with hops is not a good idea. The apple variety actually doesn’t taste that good. Also I personally don’t understand putting hops in something such as cider which itself is already sufficiently fermented. Just my humble opinion.

Plenty of fun specials on top of a solid pub-grub menu. Beer and cocktails aplenty. One of the few spots that RC cola is available from a fountain! We love the indoor atmosphere, old-timey post and timbers with a fireplace! Cozy! Truffle fries with black garlic Aioli is our family favorite.

The food was stellar and the atmosphere was absolutely delightful. Service was quick and friendly and the wait for food was appropriate for the order. Delightful drink menu. You have to try the cajun tots!

Service was slower than expected but it was very busy. Food tasted great and the portions were large. They really need to turn up their lights though...they keep it so dark you begin to wonder if they are hiding something.
Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant hands down. Us (a table of 3) and a couple were in the restaurant and that’s it. Our server didn’t check on us once after we received our food, with empty drinks for the entire meal since we got them before the food came out. He walked by us in an empty room for 20 mins while we were sitting there silent not eating or drinking and trying to be polite and wait. Until eventually I had to walk over to him and pull him over to tell him we wanted a box and a check. Was going to get dessert but the wait soured my taste and so did the waiters attitude, not apologizing at all and becoming stone cold and silent. We TRIED to be courteous, and if the restaurant were full, I would have given the waiter more grace but we felt extremely neglected and ignored.

Food was good and atmosphere was good. What set this place above the rest was Jason. This guy absolutely kills it. He served us in the bar and we appreciated his zest for his job. He was funny, sarcastic (I love it!) and overall a joyful human we felt privileged to have met. Jason, keep being awesome!

I'm pretty sure that they gave me the Santa Fe bowl and put the curry sauce on it. I have gotten the coconut curry bowl at many McMenamins locations, and it definitely did not taste like that. And, did not have cherry tomatoes in it. My husband could not even stomach it; the husband is a trash compactor for food! 🙀 So disappointing.
