We had our company Christmas dinner on Saturday night while the Christmas parade was happening. Service was great, food was great and the atmosphere was great. Thank you Murphy's for taking care of my crew, Middleton Heating and Sheet Metal

First time in Oregon, dropping off our child for school. Met up with some very nice people at the football game, Ducks versus Beavers. We were suggested to visit Murphy's since we're from Hawaii and the owner is from Mililani. So nice to see the photo of King Kamehameha infront of the restaurant šŸ˜ clean, beautiful & a pleasant atmosphere. We wanted to order prime rib, but it's a Monday, they only serve certain days. We had some drinks (wine & coctail) Food was good šŸ‘ a haole lady was our server, no aloha. She was the only one at the time, and seems like she was rushing us. We had to wait for our check. Everything looks great, but gotta have good service. Serve with ALOHAšŸ¤™

Food was ok not great and we were seated for over a hour before getting our entree (we didn't order appetizers). I was very disappointed in the food since it's not cheap and I make much better food at home. The pork chops were dry and not well seasoned, the ahi tuna was fine but again I've had so much better for cheaper, the pesto pasta was actually bad (we asked for more parmesan and that helped but I think they forgot something in the recipe because it was very bitter and just not well-balanced). The only thing that was good with the chef special which I don't remember what it was called.

Took the Mrs. out for dinner tonight and stumbled upon Murphys. Such a great restaurant. We both had the ribeye with all the trimmings and must say DAMN GOOD! Peter was our server and really went out of his way to make sure we had an e joyable experience. Great date nite atmosphere and romantic walks along the river afterward.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try this place as we thought it looked great in photos. While the prices weren’t outrageous, they were higher than average, so we were expecting an above average experience. Unfortunately, not much went right, so I’ll list everything that went wrong.

1. I ordered an Arnold Palmer. After drinking my first glass, I was brought a Dr. Pepper as a refill. Not a huge deal, but it was very indicative of how the rest of the experience would go.
2. Our server lost the ticket for our order, so we had to order our food twice.
3. From the moment we were seated, nearly a full hour elapsed before our appetizer was served (this did not appear to be a particularly busy night).
4. My girlfriend ordered a medium rare 9 oz prime rib, and it was ridiculously undercooked. Obviously, prime rib is supposed to look red, but the outer edges had little to no browning and the fat was barely rendered.
5. After politely mentioning to our server that the prime rib was undercooked, he responded, ā€œThat’s usually what our medium rare steaks look like.ā€ We got him to send the steak back, and when he returned, the steak was better, but the entire plate was drenched in au jus, which brings me to my next point:
6. The plating was atrocious. The plate was crowded with no negative space. My girlfriend’s prime rib was stacked on top of her mashed potatoes and vegetables, so they were drenched in myoglobin and au jus. My chicken katsu was sliced, but the pieces were stacked into a mountain on my plate.

This place was overpriced for what it was, and we had a less than stellar experience. I will say, the pork belly skewers were delicious and the chicken katsu was pretty good, bad plating aside.

Hostess was rude as we came in to enjoy a valentines dinner. Tables were literally empty for the 30 minutes as we patiently waited to get a spot after they couldnt locate the reservation set by our hotel concierge. Then the host felt inclined to question if we actually had a reservation asking to speak with the concierge service immediately. I personally took offense to any presumption that there could not have been a mistake on their end or perhaps the concierge. Poor customer service.

Hubby enjoyed his steak. My food wasn't good at all.

Our waitress was very busy and made every effort to make sure we were tended to. Kuddos to her.

Jacqueline, our server took special care and suggested enhancements to our drinks and meals. We felt so good. The food was hot and tasty. The pit stickers and the coleslaw were excellent! Thanks!

This place was UNBELIEVABLE. The food was INCREDIBLE. Being from California and going to Vegas often has given me some amazing food options and cuisines. This can keep up with the best of them. Definitely worth a try. Every single thing me and my date ate delicious and melt in your mouth cooked perfect. Definitely go for the steak and pork belly skewers. You will NOT be disappointed. 10/10.
