I was really disappointed with my experience at Odd Bird Café. We waited a long time just to be seated, and once we finally got to our table, it took forever for our food to arrive. Even the water was unpleasant, tasting like it came from a rusted pipe.
I ordered the original eggs Benedict with ham, and it was easily the worst I’ve ever had. The eggs were way overdone, the ham was extremely dry, and the English muffins were barely toasted. To make matters worse, the hollandaise sauce was sour and completely off.
The one positive was that our server was very nice and tried their best, but unfortunately, the food and overall experience fell far short. I would not recommend this café if you’re looking for quality food or timely service.

We recently decided to try a new-to-us spot to have breakfast in Corvallis and were intrigued by Odd Bird Cafe’s creative and inviting menu. As a longtime fan of eggs Benedict, often preparing it myself, I was excited to see they offered several unique variations. While the service was outstanding and the ambiance warm and welcoming, I regret not reading prior reviews before ordering. Unfortunately, the eggs Benedict was the most disappointing I’ve ever had. I was only able to eat about a quarter of the dish. The English muffin was soggy on top, yet oddly tough, making it difficult to cut. The hollandaise sauce was sparse, thin, and overwhelmingly vinegary, lacking the rich, buttery flavor and subtle lemon I expect. It tasted as though vinegar had been added to stretch the sauce, rendering it inedible. On a positive note, the house fries were excellent, and the drip coffee had great flavor. While I appreciated the service and setting, I’m unlikely to return. If you’re considering the eggs Benedict, I strongly recommend asking to sample the sauce first.

Great outdoor space, good service, and good drink options (full bar), but the food was pretty disappointing. The salmon in the salmon hash was overcooked/dry and flavorless and the potatoes were drenched in oil before cooking and also overcooked. The small amount of hollaindaise sauce on the dish meant the entire dish was dry and lacked flavor. My friend's yuzu French toast also was a bit dry and... underwhelming. I've been here before and had a better experience, so hoping this was just a one-off in the kitchen.

I got something with an “over medium” egg advertised and the yolk was gray and very much cooked over hard. The lentil vegetarian patty should not be used ever for breakfast it tasted terrible. Running out of breakfast spots in town

It took longer than usual to get the food.
I got French Toast, two Sunny side up eggs and whole fries.
The French toast tasted amazing and was a good portion.
Charging $5 for two eggs when an egg is $0.35 is ridiculous. The whites were still runny which I find really gross it's too much like snot and the yellows was mostly cooked.
The home fries were bland. Not worth the $5.
The menu is limited and expensive.

Very consistent menu that offers something for everyone. Great alcoholic and non alcoholic options. Kids menu is limited. Staff are nice. Waitlist is awesome as you can give your name and number and get a text message once your table is ready.
