Food was very good. Service and food were slow simply because there were so many customers, which I was happy to see. Wait staff were cordial and helpful, despite being so swamped.
This was actually my first time eating here. I had ordered it to go twice previously. To go the service was fine….
But I’m writing this review about the first time I ate there and my mom was with me.
1. It took over 30 min to even get food, they were not extremely busy we went around lunch time.
2. The guy who took us to the table and the lady who offered me a bag was very kind. But our waitress Shawnee was EXTREMELY snippy and rude. She brought over the receipt thing to pay for because she was the cashier. Well we didn’t realize we just paid like with our phone by scanning the QR code.
So we went up to the counter and she was like I saw you left money at the table but didn’t pay, so we were mentioning that we thought she could pay up there. Then I thought I could enter my number to get points and she was just trying to get us to hurry and pay and then was like well usually it will ask you after so I don’t know. And I was like well can we get a receipt and she basically ripped it off the notepad thing and gave it to us. It asked on there if you wanted a receipt and she just skipped it all…. As well as my mom tried to say well maybe you can go back and she’s like nopeeee. Super snippy. Like I’m sorry if maybe she didn’t get enough coffee this morning or something.
But I was really excited to finally eat there and take my mom because she is going through cancer treatment and this customer service is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. We have both worked in customer service food areas and this would NEVER be allowed there.
Amazing home fries.
What a find! We'd never been to Corvallis and went for a soccer game and were so happy to find this place! I don't know what was better, the service or the food!
Excellent food and service! We went on a Sunday so it was a bit busy so we had to wait but it was worth it. Waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious!
This is my partner and I’s favorite brunch spot in town. The food is always good quality and the service is great. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
The Ham Benedict was ok. The ham had good flavor but was very dense, like cutting through a hockey puck. The English muffins were also very tough. The portions are fair. The real star of the show was the home fries. They are tasty. Service was slow and never told about the specials or menus items. We had to hunt down our own silverware, but the waitress made sure to be present when paying, kinda awkward with someone over your shoulder when filling out the tip.
Wonderful brunch spot! Enjoyed mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ, yummy Classic Eggs Benedict with these crispy and soft home potatoes - really great place! Oh and the homemade strawberry-rhubarb pop tart was melt in your mouth good!
Get the French toast, you’d be crazy not to!
Odd Bird Cafe is the premier brunch spot in Corvallis. The staff are attentive and friendly, the menu is delicious, and the space is very welcoming and bright. Jenae and Amy do a great job managing a good crew of capable cooks and servers. Odd Bird also has one of the best burgers despite being a brunch cafe! Cannot recommend them enough.

Food is almost always incredible.
Service hurts nearly every time we come. We wait for hosts/waiters to finish talking with a coworker before they seat us. Everytime I come in I feel like I'm inconveniencing them. Waitress shot up conversation with a customer for 5+ minutes while we waited for our check. She kept continuing the conversation instead of getting our check / clearing our table and we were directly next to her. A worker brought their baby (I assume because the baby was behind the bar and in the kitchen) and we waited for service while workers looked at the baby. (Kinda gross having a baby in a commercial kitchen). They do not refill waters which makes me wonder, do they expect customers to do it since the water refill is so close to the customers? We waited or had to ask for refills 2-3x each visit because they rarely take the initiative to do it. Many times our waitress was standing around, looking at their phones, or just hanging out with the coworkers near the bar. The way they do service gives a weird vibe to the atmosphere. I feel like the last customer in before closing (we come well before closing each time).
Justin has always been an incredible waiter. None of these critiques are directed at Justin. We've had him serve us twice and it is a night-and-day experience from the other servers. Justin deserves a raise and the others deserve some training.

Food was really good! Servers were also very nice and attentive. The outdoor patio was a very lovely place to enjoy breakfast.

MAKE A RESERVATION! I’m not sure what their seating policy is but we waited 30 minutes despite seeing numerous tables vacant.
The food is elevated with unique combinations but perhaps takes itself a bit too seriously. Once seated, the food was quick to arrive. The cocktails were especially good.
