Odd Bird Cafe is the premier brunch spot in Corvallis. The staff are attentive and friendly, the menu is delicious, and the space is very welcoming and bright. Jenae and Amy do a great job managing a good crew of capable cooks and servers. Odd Bird also has one of the best burgers despite being a brunch cafe! Cannot recommend them enough.

Food is almost always incredible.
Service hurts nearly every time we come. We wait for hosts/waiters to finish talking with a coworker before they seat us. Everytime I come in I feel like I'm inconveniencing them. Waitress shot up conversation with a customer for 5+ minutes while we waited for our check. She kept continuing the conversation instead of getting our check / clearing our table and we were directly next to her. A worker brought their baby (I assume because the baby was behind the bar and in the kitchen) and we waited for service while workers looked at the baby. (Kinda gross having a baby in a commercial kitchen). They do not refill waters which makes me wonder, do they expect customers to do it since the water refill is so close to the customers? We waited or had to ask for refills 2-3x each visit because they rarely take the initiative to do it. Many times our waitress was standing around, looking at their phones, or just hanging out with the coworkers near the bar. The way they do service gives a weird vibe to the atmosphere. I feel like the last customer in before closing (we come well before closing each time).
Justin has always been an incredible waiter. None of these critiques are directed at Justin. We've had him serve us twice and it is a night-and-day experience from the other servers. Justin deserves a raise and the others deserve some training.

The food is elevated with unique combinations but perhaps takes itself a bit too seriously. Once seated, the food was quick to arrive. The cocktails were especially good.

my mom and i went for breakfast the morning after labor day weekend.
our waitress was very kind and notified us of some items that they ran out of. we were also in a rush and notified them and they took our order as soon as we were ready. i ordered the breakfast sando, and then they realized they were out of challah and i asked to change it to a biscuit and it was no problem. loved the vibes
everything tasted very good, but the biscuit wasn't in the style i was used to. i like a soft, flaky, buttery biscuit, but this was more herb and tougher. however i will say, when i had the rest of it as leftovers, it was yummy
the restaurant had a really nice open feeling and we loved the staff. i recommend!

We went there for the first time this past Sunday. I had looked at the menu on-line and still couldn’t decide what to get when we got there. My daughter suggested the French toast bites. So I went with that. I was so disappointed! They were rather hard, and I didn’t think they had much flavor, but they weren’t bad. I should have had the pulled pork sandwich! Oh well next time! There atmosphere was great, we sat outside. The service was great and everyone else loved their food.

The place was cute, funky and had a good vibe. The service was not so great, bland emotionless and almost as wee we were bothering her by being there. The prices for the food seemed reasonable but the food it’s self was way overcooked. My avocado toast was burnt, The avocado was brown and bitter, my over easy egg was completely burnt, covered in paprika to mask how burnt it was. Biscuits and gravy were ok but again over cooked as well as our French toast bites.

I could not recommend this place enough! We went in and were informed there would be about a 20 minute wait. We were offered to sit at the bar and choose to do so because we wanted drinks anyway.
Our wait was not long at all, much shorter than expected, with great service and information the whole time. When the food came out, we dove right in and absolutely did not regret it. It was amazing. Easily the best breakfast food I have had in a few years in Corvallis! Stop by, enjoy the atmosphere, your time, and the food. You won't regret it.

We have been on the road for 2 weeks touring the NW Washington & Oregon and stumbled upon this gem. The hostess & waitress were very friendly and helpful. We felt at home. Anyway we ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the daily special Egg Benedict with Heirloom tomatoes. Excellent!!!

It’s open and airy inside and also has a nice patio area outside, though I chose indoors today. I went healthy and had their brunch salad and a green tea.
