We recently decided to try a new-to-us spot to have breakfast in Corvallis and were intrigued by Odd Bird Cafe’s creative and inviting menu. As a longtime fan of eggs Benedict, often preparing it myself, I was excited to see they offered several unique variations.
While the service was outstanding and the ambiance warm and welcoming, I regret not reading prior reviews before ordering. Unfortunately, the eggs Benedict was the most disappointing I’ve ever had....
Great outdoor space, good service, and good drink options (full bar), but the food was pretty disappointing. The salmon in the salmon hash was overcooked/dry and flavorless and the potatoes were drenched in oil before cooking and also overcooked. The small amount of hollaindaise sauce on the dish meant the entire dish was dry and lacked flavor. My friend's yuzu French toast also was a bit dry and... underwhelming. I've been here before and had a better experience, so...
Very nice staff, good atmosphere, foods really good scrambled eggs not dry at all French toast is very very good!!!!! Would recommend and would come back if I had the chance to
