It was good the first time I came in. Second time I tried ordering the chicken pasta salad and did not get a pasta salad. It came as a house salad with about 10-15 penne noodles on top. It tasted alright but it was disappointing getting something that wasn't what I wanted to order.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I can’t recommend it. From walking in the door to getting our food took nearly an hour. We requested both orders to go, only one of them came that way. My potato salad was bland with very little flavor, and the hot pastrami was sub-par, especially at $18 for a sandwich. The chips were good and I could tell they are made in-house, they were the only thing that had any noticeable flavor, along with maybe the pickle. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I am not particularly inclined to return.

I hesitate to leave a negative review on a small local business, and I respect the work they do for the live music scene in Corvallis, but I would not recommend anyone I know eat here. I know this is a hard industry, but quite frankly your time and money are better spent other places in Corvallis if you are looking for quality or affordable food.

If you're looking for an old world deli in Downtown Corvallis, look no further!
Launched in 1977 by Jewish cheap food entrepreneur Oscar Meyer The First, this place has it all!
Bread, meat, salad dressing, water, cheese, tables, salad, chairs, local brew, and is that Corvallis celebrity Meredith Brooks up on stage? No, it's Crazy Nate in a wig.

Honestly, we had a delicious lunch and will do it again! Remember to bus your own table.

Had the Reuben with Potato salad. Got there just as it opened, they were very friendly, my food didn't take long to get to me, and it was a pretty good Reuben. All-in-all would recommend if you want a good sandwich in a nice place.

My husband and I visited for the first time today on our way to visit our son at school. I had a salad and my husband had the hot pastrami sandwich. Both of us could not say enough about how good our meals were. In addition, the service was kind and efficient. Thank you so much, we cannot wait to return.

Such a great space. I do sound locally and they really have outdone themselves. Great live music of all genres and their food is fresh.

Mighty Meaty is neither. Chicken Bisque should be named Pepper. Potato chips will bust a tooth. Save $. Go to TOGO's. The wine may be what keeps the doors open.

Delightful sandwiches, well dressed with high quality ingredients. Easily the best vegetarian sandwich I've had in years. Meat is house smoked; if you want great deli meats, this is the best spot for pastrami or roast beef. Counter service is admirable, even during a massive lunch rush, and they pull pints straightaway.

If you're not in the mood for Oregon Trail Brewing, check out their can and bottle selection; easily top 3 cold cases in Corvallis. For those not into alcohol, they make in house sodas that will have you questioning every can of Coke or Pepsi product you ever drank.

Lastly, don't sleep on the pickles or desserts. All I can say is order extra so you don't beat yourself up over not having enough later. Stellar, in every regard.

The food is fresh, and usually fairly fast. I’m pretty sure they smoke their own meats, and they make their own chips!. It feels pricey sometimes but the quality is worth it. Last time, they had no turkey but happily substituted some more salami- which was also to die for. I can’t remember the guys name, but I enjoy coming in and seeing familiar faces and he’s incredibly nice. The atmosphere is also great. They sometimes have live music and it’s such a vibe. They also make their own desserts and sell local drinks like the McKenzie River steelhead root beer. We love coming here as a treat

Worth the stop! Nice local place to eat. Lots of great choices for sandwiches. Their homemade potato chips were just right.

Price is high, portions are small, and service is slow. Staff is lovely and the atmosphere is excellent. But, purely talking about the food, you can make better at home or honestly even Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes is better for less money and waiting. Really wanted to like this place since I heard so many positive things but I'm guessing those people have never been to delis in any major city before. It's not even close.

We were visiting from out of state today. My family had a tasty lunch here. Unfortunately, even after warning, they failed proper allergy protocols and poisoned my son who has a bannanna allergy. Well intentioned, polite, and sadly unprofessional. After calling to notify, they informed us they cut all the sandwiches on the same board, regardless. BE AWARE!

So you can smell the smoker from down the street and the chef was working on pastrami and turkey breast. They also make fresh chips and pickle their own onions! 💣
