Panera was once a weekly+ staple in our household! ☕️🥙🥗 Unfortunately, the quality & service has gone waaay down over the past 10 years while prices have continued to rise.
I would always hesitate to recommend 🧜🏼♀️ “a different, well known coffee chain” given the political status, but if you want more consistent service, I would say go there instead of Panera.
The staff helped me with some disdain & I figured it might just be their demeanor (I know many folks don’t present outwardly friendly due to neurodivergence or rbf, including many of my friends) but after I was serviced and leaving feeling like a nuisance, the same staff member was VERY enthusiastically & loudly engaged in telling another coworker a story.
Given that Corvallis is a college town, it could be that the staff might be younger and not as experienced on how their lack of friendliness affects business. However, with the rise of online ordering, there unfortunately may not be a need of counter staff in the future anyway. 🤷🏻 I would prefer to speak to a human vs. a computer any day! 🙌🏽

First time coming here was monday. The second time was wesnesday.My last time was today when my sausage breakfast sandwich had no sausage... instead of making it right they said " sometimes people order it without sausage so maybe they got confused" no offer to fix or replace :( . Its a pretty sad day when new customers get pushed away like that.
But hey, youre up 1 sausage paddy so you have that going for you...

This location forgot to add the cinnamon crunch to their cinnamon crunch bagel. The management seems to be so focused on getting you to use their online application that they have forgotten to continue offering a quality product.

The one start for atmosphere is due to the outdoor seating, although we often find that Panera stores don’t clean their inside tables and dining room also. Please clean the outdoor tables and patio floors. We had our dog so we could not go inside, but everything outside stank so bad that we had to take our food and eat it in the car. I tried cleaning the tables but it was hopeless and I didn’t want my dog on that floor for a second. I felt ended so gross that I had to leave. The smell is horrific. If you can’t clean it maybe remove the tables and chairs as they are unusable.
Also please decide if the oatmeal is an all day item or not. A couple of managers in CA stores have told me YES it is but every time I come even a little before 11 am, they refuse to make it and I have to beg. I think I am going to give up.
