What can I say? I just find this place underwhelming. And, when I read some of the glowing reviews, I am left wondering: “Is it just me?!?!”

First, it is odd walking in here. It looks like they did a remodel that included most of the dining room tables and chairs from the shuttered Two Stones (also a well-loved place, with an interesting business model and good pizzas . . . that were horrifically over-priced for what you got).

Customizable build-your-own pizza process with lots of veggies, vegan cheese option. Pie Five also offers gluten free and cauliflower crust. Salad is also a nice option here. Reasonable pricing.

Decent pizza place and friendly staff. I have one annoyance here: if you like a “well done” pizza, you’re out of luck because the way they have their workers and conveyor belt set up, the person looking at order and making the pizza has nothing to do with the cooking or over-cooking down stream. The workers tending the end of the cook and prepping the pizza have no reason to look at order as they’re simply taking out of oven and boxing up. For this reason, the 10+ pizzas...
