I have been eating at Shaghai Wok every week since 2020. This is the best Chinese restaurant! Kevin runs this place by himself, and I definitely recommend talking to him and getting to know him. The fried rice is amazing and you should definitely try some of the more authentic Shanghai food from the non-Americanized menu. There are lots of vegetarian options too! My favorite is the hot-braised tofu!

Their food is nearly above average, but they can’t maintain the quality of the food. I tried both dine in and take out. I order the same dishes but the food tastes extremely different, don’t know what happened in the back of the kitchen. The food tastes like it’s made from an amateur chef when the second time I visit there. The primary reason is their sketchy environment, can’t even have clean water which I ask for twice and with same result (you can see in the image). Hope you redesign your restaurant, the atmosphere just doesn’t feel right, and find a way to maintain your food quality.
Eaten here twice and each time the service has been quick and very nice. The food is absolutely delicious—I get the chicken lo mien. It really just melts in your mouth! I definitely will be making this my go to.
