I have to admit that even though my husband and I are great friends with the owner and her husband, they sell excellent food. Everything is made from old family recipes that the owner and or her husband have tweaked some. I have yet to order anything that I haven't liked. If you haven't gone and eaten here. Delicious food and super nice staff! Wait time gets a bit long on Saturdays but still totally worth it. Chorizo sausage skillet and ham and eggs are both amazing. Best biscuits in town!

Food was very good, gravy could have used a little more flavor, but I understand why they made it the way they did (lacked salt and pepper). We ordered the chicken fried steak and house skillets. Food was very warm when served and only took about 15 to get to our table. Looking over the menu it has a pretty decent selection, and a variety of drinks options. Also, the cookies near the register were a nice treat, nice to know they were made from scratch. Overall, service was great and I will be back when in the area.

I really cannot recommend this place more. Super friendly and great service. Family owned and operated and you can feel it and taste it. Keep coming back for the pancakes they are so fluffy and a little sweet. Best pancakes I’ve ever had. The bacon is so crisp and cooked perfectly. Even though I’m not a regular yet, this place feels like home. Lisa is a delight to have and really makes this place remarkable.

If they were closer to downtown, I am sure there would be more post about this place.This dinner cafe is a true classic serving up all the needed food breakfast or lunch. If you're a student, their prices are not too bad and the food is classic. If you're trying to find a place to take a friend or family and everyone down town is slammed or busy.
