Best place in TOWN. The staff is 100/10, the food is amazing and it’s such a great atmosphere. We come here WEEKLY and will never go else where for a great burger.Seriously if you are in Corvallis, you have to stop at squirrels.You’ll thank me later!
David at the bar and off duty greets me with the warmth that Corvallis is flooded with. I am concerned about the food options because I came in late.The kitchen staff, Hawkins and Drew made an exception for me and are whipping up some Chili. It arrived in a fry boat, with a Cascade ? that I devoured! It was accompanied by many chips that looked kettle cooked. I fed my friend, they are happy, and I enjoyed the briney and salty snap of the pickle very much.The barback Jeanine went through the dining area and cleaned the tables. I notice the kitchen staff cleaning the back. The upper floor had pool players, and a great many friendly faces that shared a smile with us.I spoke with Brady the Bar Manager. He is not working, and indulges the questions I pepper him with. I am introduced to Agnes and a mysterious new friend with pink to purple gradient hair that flashed against their yellow and black sweater.Jeremy is Kind to me, smiles and introduces me all around.I am asked to recite a bit of alliterative poetry.I do.Kerry recommended an Airlie Marechel Foch.It is raspberries in the start of spring.It dazzles with an effusive cherry note.It refreshedI snatch a bottle of Habanero salsa and lick it off my paw like a Lion.I am happy. The night is young.My friend relays the quality of the chili to me.Hearty, warm, and cheesy. ?Like me!Dave told me to try the Garden Burger and the Squirrel Burger. I look forward to coming back.Vegetarian options: There is a garden burger. I don't know the quality.
Very busy. Can be hard to find a table during peak hours. Would suggest going knowing that you might have to wait up to 30 mins for a table. Food was amazing. I had a cold ham sandwich and it was huge! Drinks were poured well. Will visit again for date night.

5 stars if Greg would just fire Jeanine already! One of the most abrasive humans I have ever met and somehow she finds herself in customer service behind a bar...? She'll throw you out for asking twice about the beer you ordered 40 minutes ago, or just scowl when you tip her. Ya outta fix this, Greg.

My husband and I have loved Squirrels in the past. But tonight my husband ordered me a burger and deviled eggs and I discovered to my disgust that the recipes have changed and were not reflected at all on the menu to include HORSERADISH in both dishes. This is truly horrible. There is no warning in the menu that horseradish is in either item. I cannot stand the taste or effect of horseradish. So I could not eat my meal and it was wasted. A complete waste of money and a horrible experience.

This place is so consistently awesome over the years - and add on their consistently perfect Reuben sandwich to the amazing beer selection just moves the awesomeness to the max. Can't recommend Squirrels more.
