Overall I like this place. It’s a bit expensive for what you get. The food is very flavorful and the chicken is juicy and tender. My main complaint is more on the service side. I sat at a table with two empty ketchup bottles. There were no others on the other tables. I asked for another because they were empty and the manager gave me a very small plastic cup of ketchup. I ate half of the fries and used the ketchup sparingly.Luckily I was not super hungry so I disposed of the other half of my fries and left. It’s not a huge issue but I was disappointed.

The food is really good here I like that you're able to get a mixture of sauces and it's fast and everyone I've come in contact with has been really kind. They also have games that you can play outside and on the table. The only critique is that it is small so it feels like you are the one working the fryer if you eat it .

Great stop for chicken. Service good. I do wonder though, is there sugar in the breading for chicken strips?

I called for takeout 3/2. Super friendly down to earth people. Will definitely be back. I really enjoy really good home style food and this place hits the spot! I grew up in a large tourist town that had great food options so it's hard to impress me. Honestly haven't been impressed with our food options in CV or PHL since moving here 7 years ago. I generally make our meals. We weren't sure what sauce we would like so we ordered a few sauces on the side. First thing spice level. So the hottest I can handle is probably franks red hot buffalo and I do like bww Asian zing. But I have to drink water with those. With that prefaced, the Nashville sauce is not spicier than either of those. Maybe slightly less spicy. It kind of gives me bbq sauce vibes with the level of sweetness and the spices. Add in some heat and there you go. The house sauce is similar to a ranch but with less ranch seasoning and add some of the Nashville sauce. It was really good. The fries are out of this world. They taste as good as they look. I got the wrap because I just wasn't sure what sauce I would like but I wish I would have followed my instincts and got the Nashville chicken sandwich. Often times when I've had fried pub food around here my stomach hurts after. But not this place. This tells me they clean their fryers regularly. I can't believe I waited so long to try this place!

this place is super inconsistent with its portions. for the prices, it’s definitely not worth it. if you don’t tip enough your food will be half the size of a regular portion. it’s honestly really upsetting that i pay 26 dollars for 2 meals and it can’t even feed one person. also i’ve been trying to give this place multiple second chances and it never gets better. a pure disappointment

This location is like Corvallis’s version of Chick-fil-A, but better!Their chicken sandwiches are good, with chicken fried to order. The pieces are thinner, but that means your order comes out faster and has more crispy breading, so I like it.When they first opened, the chicken could come out a little on the drier side. But as of my most recent visit, the cooking time has been perfected to consistently keep the chicken juicy.Funnily enough, I think the best thing on their menu is actually their seasoned battered fries. Those things are astonishingly good. And lastly, their large selection of dipping sauces are delicious and fun to try.Highly recommended! A bit higher prices than places like KFC, but you definitely get what you pay for.

the serving sizes are extremely inconsistent. Went a month ago and the wings were a good size. Second time, wings were absolutely tiny - around the size of mcdonald’s chicken nuggets, maybe 10% larger. Probably not worth the money if the wings are this tiny. Sauce was wrong too.

I ordered through doordash so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere that's why I gave it one star on those. let's talk about the food.I ordered the coconut chicken and some chicken bites for my daughter.the chicken is crispy but isn't spectacular as far as flavor goes. It's coconut chicken so I wasnt expecting a bold flavor either. It was good. Cooked through and crunchy. The honey mustard is really good. I ordered ranch too but I'm not sure its ranch. Tastes more like a creamy dill sauce. not my favorite.the pink soda deserves 5 stars though. it's really good. I'd order a pitcher of that if I could..The fries were... well they're fries lol.I might order from here again and try some other items on the menu in the future.

When this restaurant first opened, we went there for lunch. The service was slow, but we attributed that to the fact that they were still getting their routine together. However, they have been open for a while now. We went there again today and nothing has changed. In fact, the service seemed even slower than before. Additionally, it felt as if they were not heating the restaurant at all. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant was cold inside, so cold that we had to leave our coats on to stay warm. We made a mistake and ordered the hot chicken. Beware, it is extremely spicy hot, and the spicy coating is burned onto the chicken and even finds its way onto the neighboring french fries that touch the chicken that come with the order. We were unable to eat it and took it home to scrape the burned-on coating off so that the chicken was edible for us. We realize that some people will enjoy this spiciness. Our lunch, which included two orders of the hot chicken (including fries, a few pickle slices, a container of Hot Honey - we're not sure what that is exactly, we didn't try it - and a very small serving of coleslaw) and one fountain drink cost $30. We felt that was a lot. We can eat at other restaurants for less than half of that. We ended up going across the street to KFC for a kids meal lunch.

Pepper was extremely kind and welcoming to me when I stopped by. I was only door dashing but am new to town and she made sure to tell me all the good spots Corvallis has to offer. Super kind and awesome culture at the shanty!

I ordered chicken strips. Absolutely wonderful!! The portions were generous and the sauce was amazing. I also ordered the bone in chicken wings. The wings smelled really bad. I tossed the wings in the garbage. I'm surprised the staff boxed them up and served them. I was greeted right away by staff. The manager introduced herself to me. I tried using the debit card merchant machine. My card wasn't excepted. Most credit union debit cards will not work in the "Square" merchant machines. I didn't have any small bills, so I asked to brake a large bill. One of the employees snapped and the manager about braking a large bill. The manager had the situation handled. The employee needs to have this conversations in private with management. My visit to this establishment was a Wednesday around 3:00 pm. My first impression was the restaurant needs a good cleaning. I was overwhelmed with the smell of dirty grease. The table I sat at wasn't whipped clean. The floor needed mopped. However, the restaurant was not cluttered with trash. I will go back and have the chicken strips again. My recommendation to the owners. Enforce a cleaning schedule for morning and night crew. Have staff keep better track of dinning room so tables get whipped down with bleach water. Hand out wet ones to your customers. I didn't get any in my take out order. Best regards!!

Their food is really good. The thing I had most recently, which was their Cajun Mac, was FANTASTIC. I will say, I had a pretzel bun sandwich at one point, where I was disappointed with the amount of chicken I received, but... IN GENERAL I've been very satisfied with the food I've gotten there, and if you like mac and cheese, their Cajun Mac is to die for. Really good. Will go there again. Also, their cooking time is reasonable- I've never had to wait much for my food. I wouldn't say that I'd go there for the ambiance- you can eat there if you are a little pressed for time, but... that's not why you go there. You go there for excellent food.
