We came here on a Sunday and the drink deals are mind blowing. $4 mimosas and bloody Mary's. But also normal menu wine of the day is $6 a glass that is a heavy pour (my hand in video for reference đ€Ł). I live in Portland and you would not get this deal anywhere. I used to go to the original downward dog that used to be downtown back when I went to school here. When I found out it closed I still had to stop by before walking over to campus.
Fave bar in town. Amazing beers and food
First trip to Oregon and I'm super glad I stopped here. Good food good beer good people. One of my favorite parts of my trip.
First time visit. Friendly service and good food. Additional bonus, they have Guinness on draft!
Great food, great staff, great beer - one of the few places you can find Guiness on nitro.
Good bar with inexpensive drinks. Didn't like the order line setup because the pinch point between rooms was difficult to navigate with your hands full of fresh cocktails. Nice outdoor patio heated seating. Fun spot!
Came to meet some friends before the beavs game around 12:00 yesterday.
2 guys working up front. I was mistakenly looking at some specials that start at 4:00 and the bigger guy said âthose start at 4:00â, I said âoh thank you sorry my eyes skipped that partâ and I laughed. He looked miserable took my drink order, I said that I would like the seltzer on tap please. His demeanor was just overall rude and shouts âwhat flavor.â And I said âoh whateverâs on tapâ he then screams WHAT FLAVOR you get a flavor!â I said oh Iâm sorry Iâll take the berry. He reaches into the cooler and I was expecting him to grab a can so I said âoh actually I wanted it on tap not a canâ , he was actually grabbing a glass then he finally explains in the rudest way possible that the tap has no flavor and you add a syrup to it, but he was shouting it so rudely. The skinny guy working along side him who I have seen there before was just laughing.
Then while my boyfriend is signing the check thatâs when his tone changed and he said thanks guys. Ha!
Look- I know that itâs frustrating when a customer doesnât understand something and they are annoying you but service with a smile my guy.
Iâve worked in plenty bars, restaurants, golf courses, event centers and I know that good service requires you to simply be kind first. Not to mention Iâve never seen a seltzer on tap where you add syrup to it. It was cool but also uncommon so understand please that I didnât get it.
Left a dollar tip but wish I would have left more cause I know that anger mgmt classes are expensive.

Did take it. The food was great and service to notch. I would recommend. It has a nice patio to eat and hangout.
Kid-friendliness: Maybe if you sit outside. It's a bar. Each to their own but I wouldn't recommend taking them here.

Got drinks at the bar, no last call mentioned at all. I go outside to drink my cider and after 15 minutes go buy they kicked everyone out and closed the whole bar down. Dawg if I knew I wasn't gonna be able to enjoy my drink, I wouldn't have ordered it.
