The sushi are delicious, but they change the recipe for calamari and it’s not good. Taste like an onion ring. I don’t recommend it. I recommend the Corvallis, tuna, spicy salmon are delicious. Prices are great. We are from Beaverton and everything is expensive. I mean 30 bucks for three rolls and appetizer wow amazing

Never go back! Chef at table blew his nose on his apron and returned to cooking at the table without washing his hands. We told our waiter and she actually watched him walk from the table, blow his nose in a napkin and walk back to the table and continued cooking. Our waitress told management and management saw him doing it again and confronted him. He then went back to the table and continued cooking. Management let him continue without washing first and or replace his apron. I took a picture of their buisness license and will report this. Disgusting ?

The teppanyaki is like night market teppanyaki and the food was very salty (entertainment > food), so don’t have high expectations for their food when you come here, it’s not what you think it is. The raw fish of the nigiri are spongy and lack of flavor (frozen ?). They also have a serious problem for their hygiene, they have nasty toilets and extremely greasy apparel on the chef, and his keep touching it while cooking my food. My appetite lost 50% immediately. In short, the restaurant is suit for entertainment, but not really for decent teppanyaki and sushi. One more reminder, keep everything clean before you start cooking. Hope you make some changes.

The experience was not good for me. I visited twice but they weren't pleasant. The food is okay.

Genuinely the worst Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. A bit ironic for me to say that because I didn’t even get a chance to try anything! My parents and I waited so long to get a table there and were instantly unimpressed by how dark and unsanitary looking the restaurant was. No server ever came to our table and was taking orders from people that arrived after us. Needless to say, we walked out shortly afterwards. No regrets and will not be returning again.

On my previous visits, service was passable, but last week, despite a nearly empty restaurant, we waited an hour for our food. I typically tip based on service quality, which was lacking, yet the staff took a larger tip than I authorized on the receipt. Disappointing experience.

The food is absolutely amazing. This is my favorite place in Corvallis absolutely hands down to get sushi. That being said the service is absolutely horrible here. Typically the service is bad and very slow and all the food comes out at once instead of laying appetizers and then entree. Me and my partner came on Valentine’s Day, we had no expectations knowing the service is typically slow and coupling it with the fact that it was a nice date place. We waited 30 minutes before being acknowledged by anyone. When we got sat we sat there for literally ONE HOUR before I had to flag a waitress down. And it was not just us, there was 7 other groups in our section waiting for one. One of them left after 45 minutes. After finally taking our order it took another 20 minutes to get a miso soup (which I’m sure is pre prepared). After we got our appetizers after an hour and 40 minutes we noticed that 3 tables who had gotten there significantly after us had already been given their food and paid the bill! And after a brief look around nearly everyone who got there after us had already eaten. It seemed like due to an overflow of guests they put us where the hibachi should be and completely forgot about everyone they sat there for 2 hours. Me and my partner both work in the restaurant business and this was absolutely unacceptable. At the very least they should have not kept seating people when others had been sitting there for an hour without drinks. Sushi was bomb tho, get the crab Rangoons.

They should not advertise for pickup. It is practically false advertising. The food is quite good but I have never once had them answer their phone so it is impossible to order ahead. We would have eaten here way more often if we could order but generally end up ordering somewhere else that does have good customer service. It is a shame.

Loved it!! The atmosphere is a little dated, and the exterior of the building could use some TLC, but oh my goodness this food was great. Some great sushi and the steak in the bento box was so good! We also got the Chicken Udon and that was very good, with very generous portions as well. Definitely going to come here again!!

One of my favorite sushi spots in Corvallis. It can get pretty busy, but the servers are always kind and the food is always delicious.
