Last night was our first experience and it was just me and my 6 year old son. We didn’t have a reservation and wanted to do the teppanyaki, so I told him before we went in that we might have to wait a little bit dependent on how busy it was and if they needed to fill the rest of our table (the teppanyaki tables seat 8, so I figured they would wait until more people came). They sat us right away and we received service right away. They are quick to check on how everything is and clear your dishes from all the pre-dinner foods. To our surprise, Chef Charlie came out and did our teppanyaki dinner for just the two of us. He was funny, patient (when my son accidentally threw one of the props further than expected), and made sure we would like all the flavors he was using while cooking. We had an absolute blast. My son told me it was the best night of his life. Even a server who was not serving our table came over to ask my son how he liked the show. Very sweet establishment, great service, yummy food and awesome people. We will definitely be back.

Should have tried their specialties I think that was my error. The chef at another table looked great.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill. Used to be so good. We got there and she wanted to sit us immediately which is nice but there were others waiting when we walked in so we said take them first. Finally got a table and it took at least 20 mins for someone to come over and take our food order. Finally about 30 mins later my meal came but my partners did not. Sat there waiting for his for at least another 10 mins. The food was just meh like whatever. I asked for chicken teriyaki and I know the sauce on my chicken was not teriyaki but no clue what it was. We had to go to the register to get our check as no one ever came back. Sad but we won’t be back.
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the experience my girlfriend and her father had at your establishment this evening. Given your restaurant’s reputation and upscale positioning, we expected a high standard of service, but unfortunately, that was not delivered.
She informed me that they were among the first guests to arrive, yet had to call over your servers no less than three times just to receive basic service. While I understand that restaurants can become busy, such delays are unacceptable, especially at the beginning of service.
Moreover, she recounted an incident where, upon requesting chopsticks, a server threw them onto the table in front of her. This level of disrespect and disregard for customer service is truly disheartening, and entirely unbecoming of a high-end hibachi restaurant.
Dining at a hibachi establishment is not only about the food, but the overall experience — one that should be welcoming, engaging, and respectful. She stated that the Hibachi chef(Charlie) was amazing and that plus the food was the only good experience about your establishment. I sincerely hope you will take this feedback seriously and evaluate the professionalism and conduct of your staff to ensure no other guests are subjected to such treatment in the future.
Charlie was amazing!! The food was great!
Absolutely amazing! Such a great time! Perfect place for birthday!
Bad service and food
We were the only people in the restaurant and I ordered tuna rolls and golden california rolls. pretty simple right? i've been sitting here for 35 minutes and still haven't got my food. they managed to serve everyone else in the restaurant who came in after us and ordered much more food. mind you there's more workers in the building than customers.
update: finally got my food and its mediocre at best. better off going to the dairy queen across the street
I’ve never left a restaurant before and this place is my first. The worker was rude and the food was cold. It seemed like they just got all the left overs and threw it on our plate. Everything tasted extremely bland. The noodles and salmon were cold and they dumped teriyaki sauce over everything and the teriyaki sauce was cold and made everything taste even worse. I think they might buy frozen food and reheat it. When I asked her if she could heat it up, I saw her put Saran Wrap and throw the dishes in the microwave at this point I just ended up leaving. She still charged me for the soup and salad which was fine but it seemed like it didn’t bother her at all.

Teriyaki steak was tender and flavorful. The bento dinner box was a smorgasbord and everything was fresh and delicious .. first time there and already planning to go again. I like the cozy atmosphere on the second floor. Cool to watch the hibachi chefs 😊
The consistency all around keeps me going back
Have been going here for over 10 years, absolutely love the sushi and the owner.
We had an excellent evening with friends from out of town and everything prepped for us was fantastic!
Good sushi
