Great sandos. Inconsistent hot lattes (sometimes great, sometimes just lame hot milk). Tricky parking in a small lot. Yummy pastries. Awful male barista who works there on Mondays, usually. Emanates aggression and negativity, one to avoid. Atmosphere of the shop is cold and sterile, I ordered take out when I would visit.

Ordered a caramel latte and it's the best I've had. The almond croissant was soft, warm, and delicious. My friend was given a stale croissant and was given a new one. Only thing I would suggest working on would be the communication. There was time they would place certain items from our order on the counter and they didn't call it. But overall great place.

The coffee is astounding, the atmosphere is great, but good luck trying to get in. The location has 3x as much seating as parking. The locals have put up signs in yards to please not park nearby and a local shop owner sits outside their store watching if folks go inside their store or next door to Tried and True. I’ve been a customer for years but with the increasing difficulty and stress getting in I wholeheartedly can’t recommend the experience.

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop, hands down! Not that I actually get coffee here when I come, though. The spiced Chai is TO DIE FOR. Ugh! I am going to sorely miss this place when we move. This is my go-to spot for having dates with friends and I just always feel so warm and welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is right on the money and I just love it!!Dietary restrictions: I can’t have dairy and I love that they have so many DF items and customizations available!Kid-friendliness: My kids were welcomed when I brought them in and we had a great spot out back to sit under an umbrella and enjoy a nice warm treat!

Tl;dr. Skip this place.Snickerdoodle was hard as biscotti. Unappetizing. Espresso was Luke warm. Would have been better if the barista would have heated the cup. Amateur hour. Why aren’t the prices posted for beans? Market Changing by the hour? Stupid to have to point at a bag and ask how much. Try that with the coffee menu if it’s such a good idea. I’ll stick with CC.
The barrista at this location—dark curly hair, glasses and lovely smile—-is truly a master at her craft. We call her the professor. ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free apricot cookies ate the best. Not too sweet. Topped with sprinkle of coarsely ground salt. Yum!

I love the coffee, it may be the best the Oregon. I'm not a fan of driving to Corvallis with the express purpose of grabbing a cup only to find the downtown location closed. This has happened 3 times in the past month. So, why not bop down to Southtown for a cup? The product is just as good as the downtown location. Today, and a first for Tried and True they completely messed my order up. No, I didn't have them make it again because I discovered when I got to the car. Furthermore, what I ordered is perhaps the most basic thing on the menu. I'm still giving 4 stars here, but you guys need to step it up.
