This used to be my favorite fast food restaurant in this area. Fairly recently, however I have been dissatisfied with them. They have removed many of the items from their salsa bar, have begun to charge more for extras, and I have had to ask them to remake sandwiches that have been overcooked or were cold when I got them. They don't even have a survey for customers- like they don't feel they have to live up expectations of their guests! I gave them three stars because they generally have good food, and perhaps I just have set my expectations too high. But this restaurant has exceeded my expectations in the past, so I feel that they are not trying as hard anymore.

Oh my goodness, ain't was so impressed with Aylah! I have been to multiple fast food places--the main chains. None of them would do a lettuce wrap and at best gave me the essentials in a box that I would need to grease my fingers to eat.
I came into Carl's after a couple of years being here before. I am desperately following the Atkins diet and our circumstances called for a quick lunch. I prepared for the above experience.
When I asked for no bun, Aylah spoke up immediately and asked it I wanted that lettuce wrapped! I was floored and wanted to hug her. With excitement, I even ordered a second sandwich--lettuce wrapped.
You've definitely won a consistent customer. Great job and invite, Aylah! You made my whole day. 😀

It’s was so good the burger felt fresh something that would come out our back yard. They were super nice and clean. Totally coming back semi trucking on the other side of the street. Emily was the one who helped me out.
That's how I'd describe the hamburgers we ordered. Very upsetting, the burgers were inedible. We all took one bite and were disgusted. The meat tasted old and rancid. The buns were old, and drenched in ketchup like a damp towel, yuck! We actually spit out the food and threw it away, there was no way we were going to eat that food. It was so disgusting. $45 down the drain, literally. Who hands you your food over your head?? Weird staff.

When you ask for something, like pickles to not be on your burger, you can't just pick them off when i point that out cuz the burger still tastes like pickles. That was disgusting.
