Had an amazing late lunch today at Hacienda Vieja in Cottage Grove today! Great service and food! Beautifully plated too. There are many Mexican restaurants to choose from in the area but, this one is authentic and flavorful. Highly recommend.

We were out of town so found the closest diner. It was very enjoyable. Good food. Good service. It was hot outside but comfortable temperature inside. They decorated the interior of the restaurant very well. I personally ate too much and took a great nap when I got back to the Airbnb.
Parking: Located in a small strip mall . When we ate few of those businesses were closed allowing for even more parking. We had gone to one other location. No parking. No idea if it was busy inside. Their parking maybe had 10 parking spaces plus street parking. I was happy to find many parking spaces, in a parking lot, at Hacienda Vieja.

They got my order wrong and didn't check back with us about the meal to fix the order. We were one of only 2 parties in the restaurant so it's not like they were too busy for us. I ordered a chile relleno burrito and the rice and beans on the side were in the burrito. It had parmesan cheese on top! Who puts parmesan on Mexican food? The sauce was like marinara sauce. They don't have any non-alcoholic beer so that's one strike against them but I can drink water and save my money. It just wasn't really a great experience. Next time we will just go to Torrero's like we usually do. When you get to a restaurant and there's no one there, it's a sign! Oh and the guacamole was flavorless. I can't say anything about whatever my son had because he wasn't impressed and doesn't like to complain.
