Great place. Recommend stopping here if you're passing through.
There are 3 different book stores within walking distance, so you're set.
Plus live music down the street on Saturdays (except not in winter)

Just moved to the community.... And thought I would try a few local places on the food they have.... The great Coast fork pulled to the front with a excellent shepherds pie ..

Beautiful garden edging a shady patio, lovely people serving an intriguing mix of local brews and ciders, and tasty food. Frequent live music, too! Try the locally made cheesecake and the pear cider!

Great brew selection and outstanding homemade shepherd’s pies. But watch out for the anti-social squatch nearby (by the dam). ?

Great brewpub. We were staying in Cottage Grove for the night and this place was recommended. Temperatures were in the 100s and they do a limited menu when it's really hot outside in an effort to keep the staff from overheating. Guess what? The food was awesome regardless. Great salad, great BLT, solid beers, and we enjoyed it all on the covered patio with the misting system keeping us cool. Can't wait to return.

If there was a way to pay more quickly that'd be nice. It sucks to wait in line 20 minutes just to pay to leave. I'd go much more of this wasn't the norm.

Parking: One way streets and blocked roads. Parking can become an issue. But not more than a block or two away.

We call this place "Our Local" like the British tradition of having a neighborhood pub. We enjoy the live music, their good brews, whiskey selection, and friendly staff and owners. Their shepherd's pie is great. Brew selection is constantly updated.

The food Cottage Pie was excellent, my beer a Stout was quite tasty.Seating in the heated tent was plentiful and warm. When I was finally served after being ignored by the guy behind the bar, (apparently unable to talk to one party and serve anyone else in line, [or perhaps I look like someone who kicked his dog? I dunno]), anyways the beers I tasted were quite flavorful, and I would have had another if the same guy hadn't ignored me when I approached the bar, was even planning on purchasing a button down shirt when I saw thier merch when I entered the bar area.I spend 200 plus nights a year on the road traveling through the tri state area twice a year, there are places I would recommend and places that will never see another dime of my money. I'll leave you to guess my thoughts here.Again fantastic food, good beer, beginning customer service not so much.
