“I ate here for the first time with my daughter today. The staff was super friendly, and very accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. I recommend the soft serve, and the chickn’ wrap. I like that everything was vegan and straight forward to order. I’ve been meat free for 24 years (vegan for 8 of those) and tried a lot of veg friendly places, but this one really had a sense of community! I only wish this place was closer to my house so I could eat there more often.“

“This is the second time I’ve been to Acorn Cafe. It was equally as delicious today. Brought my daughter and we shared the biscuits & gravy and waffles. So much food and extremely delicious. We also ordered the lavender lemon soda and Hawaiian Haze mocktail and they were super tasty and refreshing. Acorn has a lovely ambiance and the service was friendly. They don’t accept tips for themselves but pay it forward instead to folks less fortunate. Well worth supporting! Looking forward to going back and trying everything.“

“MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN......This burger was amazing. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I don't even really like pickles but the man makes his own pickles and they pair amazingly well with the burger. You can taste the love and care he puts into the food and super nice. I live wayyyyy out in the country and it's almost a 30 minute drive for me to get to his place and he was so thoughtful and mentioned that next time to let him know to hold off 20 minutes after I order so my food would be hot and fresh when I got there and that in itself would of been enough for me to return in the fact that he cared enough to want to make sure my food is fresh, which may I say is a rarity in customer service. If you haven't tried and all the other 100+ reviews weren't enough for you to want to give this man your business then let me add onto the list of people who highly recommend this place. It's so rare these days to find a place who actually gives a flip about what they're serving and he definitely most definitely does. I'll be making the hour round trip again in the near future just to get me a burger. PS.. you can taste the high quality of meat he uses, it's not a slop shop by any means and when I was picking up my food he was slicing potatoes for the fries and man again it's so worth it. “Drop Bear has become our neighborhood comfort hangout! Their indoor area is so cosy, but with ample seating so we never have to worry about finding a spot to eat. They have a nice outdoor area as well with heaters. They have great food and drinks and nice staff. They have an extensive vegan and gluten free menu for those with specific dietary needs, but also tasty food options for meat eaters and the like. You also have the option of ordering from the Thai food cart outside if you are in the mood for Thai food (which I often am). They have bingo and trivia nights and GIANT projector screens for events too if you want a movie night for a private party. If you haven't been there yet, I recommend you check it out. If you went when they first opened, but haven't been back recently, give it another go!“

With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“
