Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.
Aaron was an excellent tasting guide! We popped in towards the end of the day and he had the Bob Marley going and chill vibes.Wines are small production and basically club only - excellent across the board. Nice family run winery and meaningful stories for all of their bottlings.
Adam & Aaron were gracious & accommodating hosts ??As walk-ins, they were welcoming & I felt like they laid the red carpet out for us ??Traveling from Boise, Idaho to Depoe Bay, Oregon...the wifey & sister wanted to visit a winery on the way??De Ponte Cellars was the perfect, refreshing, & relaxing stop all in one ??Thank you Double A's
