A truly unique experience. Every dish has some kind of mushroom or truffle element even the chocolate dessert. Some are very subtle and some feature the mushroom. The food was amazing, the wine was wonderful and the service was spectacular. Can't wait to visit again and again.

Just exquisite! A royal treat for yourself and family. Relaxing dinning experience. No need to worry about anything. Simple needs meet like keeping my water class filled to explaining each menu item in detail. I was very impressed how staff managed to keep out of our personal space, but still managed to clear dishes and reset the tableware. The food at the Palmer House is amazing, however, light footed stealth staff that is courteous, promotes the dignified atmosphere rarely found in such restaurants.

Always have enjoyed the Joel Palmer House for special occasions and this was no exception. The food and service were both as expected - outstanding and we will return in the future when there is a special event.

We were only presented with the 2 most expensive set menus which did not match menu shown on their website. We were not given the option of the 3 course menu. Disappointed for sure. Had been there in times past and remember the menus as being high end but not over the top expensive. Probably will never go back as there are to many other options in the area that don't have shockingly high prices

We indulge at Joel Palmer House at least once a year. It is worth the 200 mile drive.

This was our second time choosing the Oregon Omaksce Experience option. Last night we opted for the Tête de Cuvée as well. Imagine the word "Wow" expressed in multi-syllabic fashion - then you're getting close to what you can expect. Bravo Joel Palmer House, Bravo.

Overall, an amazing fine dining experience. I was just surprised that my order of "Scallops" only came with one scallop--I guess I was expecting at least two, hence the plural.

Very disappointing! Had been last year and was a better experience! The price went up from last year and the experience went down! Some of the tasting menu was very good and some was totally lacking flavor including even salt! The dessert spread was created beautifully but in my opinion was not edible! The service was good but there was a snobbery attitude that made us feel shamed for not wanting A $200 to $1000's bottle of wine! For the $600 price tag one should be raving! Won't be going again!

Always exceptional food, wine, service, and ambience. While we thoroughly enjoyed the new (pared down) Sunshine menu, if it's your first time try the Mushroom Madness or Omakase which are still available and not to be missed. We make it a point to come twice a year and always look forward to the next time. Levi is a skilled and personable sommelier and Chef is outstanding at his craft.

Fabulous dinner experience. Everyone was kind and friendly and welcoming providing outstanding service. The food was lovely and special. The wine was fabulous Oregon Pinot Noir. My wife wanted an experience rather than a present to celebrate our anniversary. Joel Palmer was just that! Thank you all.

We dined at the Joel Palmer House on 3/30/2024. The meal was superb and the staff was excellent. They were able to provide helpful suggestions and answered questions about the dishes flawlessly. We look forward to dining with them again.

Birthday dinner, the 5-course choice. We have been comining to JPH since 2004, it is our birthday, anniversary, special event go-to for fine dining, imaginative presentations, and the most extensive and varied wine selection in Oregon.
