Warmly greeted by staff, we were allowed to select our seats, given menus, and our drink orders were placed. Within minutes, we were served our drinks, and our waiter took our orders...clam strips, chowder bowl, shrimp and fries, and chowder and salad. Everything was cooked fresh, and it all was delicious. Highly recommend this establishment.

The service was divine and attention to detail was given. The food we ordered was fish and chips as well as shrimp and chips. The plating was intriguing to the eye. The smell and taste reminds you that freshness can only come from small businesses and the quality of the ocean. Overall, this restaurant is now on my favorite, must stop places worth the time and attention. Thank you for providing my family with exceptional experience! Can’t wait to visit again next year!

The restaurant is unassuming but clean. The man working the bar / restaurant was very welcoming and friendly. Service was quick.I ordered the oysters and chips. The oysters were cooked perfectly, they were nice small ones, but there were enough to fill me up. The chips are home cut potatoes, also very good. It came with homemade garlic bread, also super yummy.My husband had a club sandwich which was huge! He said it was great.

It's certainly not the same as it was. Going here was a family tradition, so it was disappointing to realize that out of the 4 of us, the only thing we enjoyed were the fries. Sadly, we'll be looking for a new chowder spot.

Have tried several times. Chowder is mostly potato soup, few clams. Service is usually indifferent and slow. Twice in a row they forgot items on our takeout and no apologies when we had to go back for the missing items. Will not be returning.

Good service @ Chowder Bowl in Depoe Bay, OR. We stopped here for drinks after whale watching. There was a cute model train on a track that went around the restaurant. Bartender was friendly and courteous. He served us promptly and helped other patrons get seated, and also cash out their bill.
