Hole in the wall restaurant with excellent food and service. I'm pretty picky with my seafood but their seafood Alfredo was scrumptious! My husband enjoyed the prime rib special and do request for a straight horseradish ! Their pepperoni calzone was a generous size and my 12 yo picky eater of a daughter devoured it all. We topped it off and shared a to-die-for lava cake for desert! It was a wonderful reward after hiking 4.5 miles up the waterfalls at Drift Creek!

Out of towners decided to give the place a try seeing it was close to the hotel we were staying at. Best restaurant been to for some time.
The service (Jesus) was GREAT, and the food (prime rib french dip and calamari) as even better!
Enjoyed it so much we decided to give breakfast was even better! I had country fried steak and GF had an avocado, crab, and egg on toast. My CFS was a thin steak hand breaded along with country potatoes, and eggs!
Loved the place and will be on my list for next time we're in Depot Bay!

Got prime rib , it was only a 1/4 inch thick so that was disappointing for sure but it was really good. I’m going to ask for 16 oz next time

The place was empty except for our party so I'm not sure if that's why the service was so quick. Our server was very attentive & friendly. Ordered the chicken pesto ziti & it was delicious! Got the chocolate mousse cake for dessert & I cannot recommend it enough! Absolutely to die for!! Give this place a try if you've never been...you won't regret it!

Amazing food and service. We had the ling cod and chip fries, and the Fishing Rock burger. The clam chowder was very good too.

First I will say maybe the best seafood I have had on the Oregon Coast! We went for lunch after a recommendation from the owner of the leather shop in Depot Bay. We were greeted immediately on walking in and invited to sit anywhere. This place is bright and clean and has friendly staff.
We ordered pan fried oysters, chowder and fish n chips. The oysters had a light Panko breading and were perfectly cooked. Fish was perfectly breaded and cooked. The chowder was thick and rich .ade with scallops, shrimp and claws. We travel the coast from Northern California to Southern Washington eating seafood everywhere. This is our new favorite place.

We loved our food and dining experience! It’s a great mix of casual yet quality. Sure it might not be the fanciest but it delivers a delicious meal at a good price with a varied menu that highlights seafood favorites. I’m born and raised on the coast and make a point to try chowder and their seafood chowder is fantastic! I know they are still in their reopening phase with new owners and team so I know they were short on staff however the small staff there was EXCELLENT! So glad Depoe Bay has a new go-to spot. I will be returning soon!

This place is easily comparable with other top restaurants of the area, and it will come out on top. The clam chowder is the best in the area and the prices are reasonable. The fishing rock burger is absolutely wonderful, and is very juicy. This restaurant is one of the best places to eat while visiting the Oregon coast.

Fishing Rock Eatery’s grand opening was an absolute hit! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—you can tell the staff is proud of what they’re offering and eager to make every guest feel at home.
Fishing Rock Eatery has already set a high bar with its excellent service, delicious food, and fantastic live music. If this grand opening is any indication, this place is going to be a local favorite for a long time to come. Highly recommended! 🎶🍽️👏
Yay: New owners/cooks at this great little spot near Fogarty Creek! Tonight, we had the meatball boat app, IPAs on draft, and prosecco. Then we enjoyed the special, Chicken Marsala, and the Prime Rib Dip Sandwich. For dessert, we indulged in the house made bread pudding. Everything was delicious! Service was fantastic.
Pro Tip: If you don’t want to hear/see sporting events on the bar TV, sit in the separate (quiet) dining room.

We had my brothers service dog with us and they had no problem making her a hamburger patty. They even asked if wanted seasoning like salt and pepper or just plain with no seasoning. The waiter was really great. We were there 12/05 for the King Tide.

My wife and I stopped by for a meal and had a wonderful experience. I had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries and my wife had a waffle with a side of bacon. We were both very happy with our meals. We also received excellent service fom our server, Jesus. We're looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
