Service was great. We ordered the 5-course with wine pairing had had a wonderful meal and night. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.

If you live or travel to Oregon's central coast, then you NEED to enjoy a magnificent dinner at Restaurant Beck. We're luck enough to live within fives minutes, but it's still a special occasion restaurant for us - or a way to make any occasion special. Last week, I surprised my wife with a mid-week dinner there, and it was one of the best meals we've had - ever. The views are amazing and General Manager Lonna is the consummate professional - classy, but fun and relaxed. We started with two shaken martinis, delivered with shimmering ice crystals and so good. For starters, we had the Fennel Apple Bisque and the Pork Belly - both amazing and unusual dishes (who combines pork belly with espresso ice cream? What an amazing bite!). For entrees, my wife had the Black Cod - flawlessly prepared and so subtle and perfect in flavoring. I tried (for the first time in my life) hedgehog mushroom Stuffed Quail - OMG!For dinner we shared a Buttermilk Panna Cotta (with a refreshing honey-citrus compote) and I enjoyed a nice aged port (I know - I should have had a dessert with with the panna cotta, but I like my port!) plus a mug of lovely black, bitter coffee. What an amazing meal and such a wonderful restaurant. We've been there at least a half-dozen times, both ordering off the menu and doing their tasting meal with wine pairings. Always great, but last week was simply stunning. Well done Restaurant Beck! We'll be back!

Over priced, small portions. Service was good and I'm sure the view is good however our dinner was in February so we had no view. It was our 25th Anniversary and it was a total disappointment!!!

Amazing food that pairs nicely with amazing views. Seasonal selections that change weekly. Always a pleasure to eat here. Consistently excellent. The Wagyu Beef was tender and delicious. Medium rare was done perfectly. Service was friendly, efficient and professional.

The best dinner I have ever had in 47 years! Hostess Lisa is an excellent hostess!! Her warm hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made my experience unforgettable!!! From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. I was truly impressed by their professionalism and their ability to make me feel like a valued guest. I can't recommend these hostesses highly enough; they are the epitome of what great hosting should be! Highly recommend adventure waits...

You really owe it to yourself to get to this place for dinner!!! The chef's 4 or 5 course tasting menu is such an amazing culinary trip! Everything is fresh and very flavorful. The chefs, servers and front of the house were TOP notch!! Great drinks and lovely wines. It's abundantly clear everyone knows and cares about what's being served. It was worth the price for this experience. Can't wait to go back again!!

Have been here for a romantic dinner with my wife and also with a goup of eight for work and have always enjoyed it. While a somewhat small space, the views, the food and the service are all equally exceptional. We return each year for a special executive team dinner and will keep coming back because we love it so much. This is definitely a "must go" place.

In short, it wasn't worth the money. The atmosphere was nice. However, the waitress was not very attentive or pleasant. The food took about an hour and 20 minutes to get and when it came, we weren't super impressed. It was average but nothing spectacular

Had heard about the chef through some other patrons. As much as I like creativity in the kitchen the portion of fish that I had was probably only 4ozs and the rest of the meal only contributed another 4 or 5 ozs. Probably won't go back.

A friend recommended this restaurant while on the coast. The ambience was nice - intimate and cozy. Unfortunately, wasn’t super impressed with the food in comparison with the prices. My husband had the steak and it was just average. I had the halibut and it was over cooked. The pork belly was good and the salad was decent. I guess my expectations were higher than what was delivered. Server was nice to begin with but not extremely attentive. Probably won’t come back. Wasn’t horrible but definitely not worth the price.

It was ok. Local Ocean in Newport was better, and it would have been worth going there twice instead of Beck. It was a drizzly, cold weekend when we stopped in for dinner at Beck. Summer had abruptly vanished. Where was the soup? Where was the attention to place, circumstance, and climate? It felt like I could have been at a midtown hotel instead of the Oregon coast. To be fair, the food was good-- there's no shame there. But it was not special, and the service left a great deal to be desired. In fact, the hospitality was chilly, wooden, and awkwardly formal. A couple of other tables--with shall we say more "distinguished" looking guests--got their food faster and with far more attention. It felt like an imitation of how people are supposed to work in fine dining. Authenticity, candor, and excellence were lacking.

Appetizers looked better than they tasted. We waited two whole hours for our entrees to be brought up before giving up and leaving hungry and tired. We would not recommend this place.

A fantastic dining experience awaits you at Restaurant Beck. Expect to enjoy your evening and take your time. Each dish takes time to be prepared, but when it hits your table it is absolutely stunning and the flavors of each component are marvelous. I would suggest this place for those that aren’t looking for a meal to satiate their hunger but instead want to treat themselves to a fun dinner with unusual & exciting options. I had rabbit for the first time and it surprised me in a good way! My understanding is that the 3 course menu changes weekly as they go to the farmer’s market, and the chef offers a blind tasting menu option as well - meaning you don’t know what will come out, it’s all a surprise. You’ll enjoy whatever you choose!
