I always enjoy eating here. The view is one of the best around, though trees have started to block it.

The food here is always good and dependable. Some of the best fish and chips. I had them last night, and they were flaky, not overcooked, generous portions. The house Cabernet was decent as well. I had the tots instead of fries. We also shared the steamed clams.

All in all, a good value. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a quick bite with a view, and don't want to wait in line.

Check your receipt. My sister and I ate here last weekend. My bill was 24.50 total. We left a cash tip on the table. They charged my card 31.00. Helped themselves to a second tip I guess. We won't be back. Food was ok, view is amazing.

Karaoke is more important then any one who is waiting trying to eat, or using an entire unused restaurant space so people can order food and eat.

The views are worth trying Surfrider restaurant. We went for breakfast and the food was okay, not terrible but not as tasty as it looked. Service was also okay. But the best part is by far the views from the dining room. The restaurant completely overlooks a small bay and it's very beautiful! Planning to return to Clarion Inn in a couple weeks and likely will return to surfriders for the atmosphere. Do recommend

This place is just like mom Paul kettle's restaurant. The food is fabulous huge portions. A little bit on the price inside but well worth it. You get what you pay for when you go here. The gal that was serving us was very pleasant and we had a great time there. It's right on the beach front, so you can see the waves. And everybody at the beach running around kind of a cold Day Out so there wasn't anybody on the beach which was nice for being able to take photos and stuff. I recommend this place for anybody. It looks like it also has a room if you want to stay the night

This place is inside Clarion motel. Unfortunately Clarion has not upgraded interior since it was built. It appears tacky and is literally tacky as you cross the floors. It is like walking across dried soda that covers the entire floor space. This is very sad because the view and location are outstanding and the cook did a great job and service was fine. So sad to see a place flounder that has so much potential. The menu has been downsized since last photos. Prices seem to be in premium range.

So disappointing! We used to eat here a lot (pre-covid) fabulous. Now it's just a gutted shell of a restaurant. Really shouldn't be open as a restaurant at all.

The only thing redeeming about this restaurant is the view overlooking the beach. I've never left a restaurant feeling like I was scammed but in this case it's questionable. We had a 100$ tab for items that would normally cost maybe 50$ at sharis or another restaurant, yet the food tasted worse than what you'd get at a standard restaurant and with smaller portions. Our waitress was decent and attentive enough but I couldn't help but feel like her mind was elsewhere, she was nice, but I feel not as nice as she could have been. Regardless my complaint is mostly about the food, as well as the delapitated appearance of the restaurant itself, the building looks like it hasn't had a renovation in 20-40 years, maybe repainted walls but that's about it.Not to mention we were seated next to a table of 9 people who were extremely loud and couldn't seem to control their kids. This was our anniversary dinner and frankly the entire experience was horrible, the saving grace *could have been* the food, but it wasn't. The food was presented beautifully on the plate, yet I could cook something better myself at home, or have gone to a different restaurant in the area and paid less.My mistake was not walking out before we were even seated, but how could I have known the food would taste so bland? You see the high price of it and assume it's going to be quality and flavorful, with decent portion sizes, yet here we are. Would I ever come back here again? The answer is a resounding HELL NO.

I loved being able to watch the waves coming in, we ate in the restaurant, did not stay in the hotel.

Rooms: Just a basic hotel room with laminate hardwood. But it's quiet and you can hear the waves.

Decent food, view is amazing!!! Come here during King Tides for one of the best shows on the Oregon Coast.

This restaurant lacks customer service. We were seated at a table facing a blue wall. The reason we chose this restaurant this day was to enjoy the view during our Brunch.I asked the waitress if we could sit by the tables with a view (these tables were empty), the waitress responded with a snarky “no”. The restaurant had 2 waitresses working and about 4 other clients besides our table of 6. Our cups of coffee remained empty too long, the waitress never asked if we needed refills. When she did ask if everything was ok, it was after we paid. The food was ok, not so great.I personally don’t recommend this Restaurant.
