All around enjoyed this stop on our way from Bandon to Bend. Had a family of six with four kids (ages 5-9) and everyone was pleased. This is what you would expect for a roadside cafe, good food and character! Everyone was friendly and the portions were big. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch foods and no complaints. It was hot inside, either they have no AC or it was out, but wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t handle it. We would stop again if we are ever passing through.

Good food - burgers are yummy and the chicken strips were a pleasant surprise (not your typical, generic overly-breaded frozen strips, but rather a chicken breast thinly sliced, breaded, and fried). Generous serving of fries. The chocolate cream pie was amazing!!

Very disappointed after seeing all the 5-star reviews. Food was not good. The gravy was greasy, steak was overcooked and the coffee tasted old. A/C must not have been working, 90 degree day and it was hot in the building. We left after a few bites.

It was great! I am a frequent eater here and really love the Spanish omelet and salads. Today, I won a free shake on the slot machine! Made it extra butterscotch flavored.
The 1lb burger was exactly what I was looking for. Girlfriend enjoyed a small bowl of clam chowder.
I'll be dropping by next time I pass through.
Waitress made sure to top the coffee off which was really nice!

My wife and I stopped by this charming little cafe along 38 last week. The service was amazing and made sure we never waited for anything. My wife had the pancakes with blueberry syrup while I had the Brother's Omelette. Staff were pleasant and delivered our meals in a modest amount of time with a smile. The food was simply delicious, with fresh ingredients and solid portion sizes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely stop by more often as Drain doesn't have many options for good food.
