This vineyard was a joy… our favourite experience of our time in Dundee. Beautiful location and Monique is an absolute delight. Knowledgeable and funny, with a clear passion for the craft. The wine was delicious and we would have purchased more if not for the Canadian border.
Not a commercial setup, not designed for semi deliveries, absolutely terrible driveway, DO NOT, DO NOT come up with 53/48 feet van or refrigerator. When I’ve called them in advance, I’ve asked if I’m ok with the 53 footer , she told OHH ABSOLUTELY but when I get there their worker told me that sometimes trucks slide off of the hill into a ditch , bunch of branches on the way up here , no pavement , no docks , absolute disaster, such a waste of your equipment like your inter-axle...
First off, I must say that Monique is amazing! She did our tasting here and boy does she know her stuff. This was our first stop in the Willamette Wine Country in Oregon and ended up being our favorite. We were blown away at the vintage wines on the tasting menu. Where else can you taste 2005 year vintages on up?? Definitely haven’t found any in Virginia where we are from. You either buy it or you don’t. There is no sampling wines of that vintage.
