The food was not good. Biscuits were dense and gluey, gravy was flavorless. Even a healthy dose of syrup couldn't save the pancakes. Maybe their lunch/dinner is better, but I can't recommend this place for breakfast.

Friends Café and Pub – Breakfast review Dark, dank, and musty smelling; the initial impressions weren’t good. Not a very warm welcome upon entry. Service was a bit slow. A bored young boy paced up and down the restaurant thumping his feet annoyingly on the floor. Menu was typical American breakfast fare. Portion size was large. I had asked for toast, eggs, and sausage but only got one small piece of toast but a large helping of unasked-for hash browns. The Red Rooster, just up the street, is a better bet.

Great spot for an early start to your day. Friendly and attentive staff. I tied the corn beef hash, delicious and food arrived quickly. I highly recommend.
Amazing food and service. One man show just bringing out the best. Corned beef hash was great and added a pancake that was one of the best I've had in a while. Will definitely be coming back
