“Great little sandwich shop and market. Like others have said, the spicy Italian is the bomb! The bread is super delicious, soft and flavorful. Sandwiches are delightfully messy in the best way. Cute market as well with tasty imported treats and foods. Will definitely return on my next trip to this beautiful area.”

“Great small town Cafe, with the family feel once you enter. Greeted by a busy waitress that still made time to make sure she knew we were there.
Love the 70’s soft rock playing while everyone worked. Restaurant was busy, one waitress( that kept up) , coffee was great and always a full cup.
We got pancakes ( was told batter is made fresh everyday from scratch) . Lots more on the menu to eat through the next time we are in town. Would definitely recommend.”

“Attached to a self-serve car wash, very unassuming little coffee hut. However, the gals working were extremely friendly and the prices were the best in town. Coffee was good, nothing blow your shorts off good, but a nice caffeine boost and was tasty. Would definitely recommend.”

“I was in Joseph for nieces wedding early September. I live in NYC and a vegetarian. I ordered the Portobello burger. Honestly I was not expecting much, ended up being the best Portobello burger I’ve ever had. The sweet potato fries and the onion rings were amazing. Thank you Range Rider.”

I don’t know what the credit card charge was about, but if you’re ever unhappy with your credit card processors switch to toast. You won’t regret it. They give you a bunch of nice new equipment. Tell them Hardware Brewing from Kendrick ID sent you, and they’ll help you switch over no cost. Then you can get rid of the credit card fee.”

“We’ve been coming to Joseph, OR for the last 8 or so years. It’s a beautiful place that continues to attract us. Over recent years, a few food places have sadly closed. Fortunately, The Blythe Cricket is still pleasing customers. Today, I had The Basic breakfast sandwich with bacon. Fantastic! Easily in the Top 5 breakfast sandwiches of all time for me. That’s 64 years. The atmosphere is worth noting. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and enjoying food and coffee. Keep up the good work, and tasty coffee as well. 👌”

“We were headed to Wallowa Lake at 5:40am and nobody was open for coffee. We saw Cheyenne Cafe was l opened at 6am so we called and asked if they could do coffee to go. When we pulled up we waited out front until the doors opened and the person who answered the phone said he was trying to wave us in earlier so we could come get the coffee. We just didn't see him lol. We ordered cinnamon rolls to go. After fishing, we went back for lunch. The burger we ordered was amazing and the fries were the best fries I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend this cafe to anyone. Prices are perfect and the portions are huge. I can't wait to go back and get breakfast next! Thank you Cheyenne Cafe for such amazing service and good food!”

“Because it is Ash Wednesday, I choose a vegetarian dish. I was expecting a somewhat bland and common experience. This is not what I received. The proprietor served the dish and the accompanying margarita. This was followed by 2 bottles of a La Laguna concoction. This took my meal experience to the next level. When you visit Joseph, Oregon, please make this your destination restaurant. You are not going to find this anywhere else in the World.”
