It should be criminal, making sandwiches this good
Is $18 a lot of money for a sandwich? Probably. Is it a lot for two sandwiches (which is effectively what you're getting here)? Not really. Is it a lot for two of the best sandwiches you'll ever eat? Buddy, it's a dang bargain. Enjoy every sandwich, this place makes it easy
If you miss this place on your travels through Enterprise and Joseph you may have missed the best establishment in all the land. Superb food and wine options run by to absolute G’s in the industry. Go there.

River Street Market is a great little sandwich shop and market. The sandwiches are delightfully messy and delicious, with the spicy Italian being a favorite. The bread is super delicious, soft, and flavorful. The market also offers tasty imported treats and foods, including fine cheese, dry aged meats, and dry goods. The shop has a fun vibe and serves a variety of sandwiches, such as the "Beets & Blue" sandwich, ham sandwich, and prosciutto, melon, mozzarella and balsamic sandwich. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. River Street Market is an absolute must stop, with an excellent selection of cold beverages, including sodas, and a great Mardi Gras menu with Cajun options like gumbo and boudin.
