“Best (out of an admittedly small selection) sushi place in La Grande/Island City. Since the closing of Thai Fresh's sushi bar, I come here for good food. Service isn't bad, but there is a slight language barrier that makes communication an issue.”

“I purchased a carrot cake, salted chocolate chip cookie and a cinnamon roll. The cookie was soft and moist and savory. The carrot cake was spongy and moist, with notes of fresh ginger ( it was great). The cinnamon roll was fluffy, sticky and delicious. I highly recommend.”

“I-84 was closed due to weather conditions and had to kill some time. Always like finding the local spots and this place is awesome. Damn near home made food, very friendly staff and obviously repeat locals they know by name. Doubt you would be disappointed if you stopped bye.”

“Ordered some take out while in La Grande. We had walked by the space many times in the past, but didn't realize there was a Thai food restaurant there. It sits in the basement of this cute little mall that had independent boutique stores around it.We were greated by a very friendly face. The place is spotless and very well maintained. The food was incredible! And the portion sizes are huge. Our to-go boxes were filed to the brim (def 2 meals). We purchased Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. All had a fair share of noodles, meat or tofu and veggies. Had fired chili oil to go, just had to ask.Will def be a goto when in town.”

“I was blown away by the quiche at this place. It was so full of flavor, and the custard was perfect. The only unpleasant experience was a customer trying to rush the kitchen and being a bit of a butthead about things. Sometimes waiting twenty minutes is worth it. It definitely is in this restaurant’s case.All of the baked items we tried were amazing. The drip coffee is surprisingly good as well. Nice book selection, we found two for my toddler while hanging out.”

“Where we live there is no Italian food near us for over an hour. We have come here multiple times and the Italian food is VERY good. The restaurant is a little unusual to find and the tables are not fancy. Looks are deceiving. Far better food than one might imagine just making a quick window glance. Worth checking out.”

“I love Antlers. I’ve been going here for years and it’s my go-to spot. The coffee and drinks are always great. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long, but if I have the time it’s always worth the wait. My only complaint is that they recently changed the tip selections. It used to be $1, $2, $3 and now it’s 20%, 25% and 30% with the 30% option being first. I always tip, but I think 30% on a coffee drink is a little excessive. The previous option kept it simple.”

“Soda Blitz is kind of a scary place with great customer service. I especially love the white teddy bear that they place on one of the tables, but I was wondering if they might be able to add a black teddy or even a brown one. “Great food, quick service. Food came out hot and fresh. Server was helpful and assisted us with our questions, brought us extra sauce and a few extra cookies to go!
