“I-84 was closed due to weather conditions and had to kill some time. Always like finding the local spots and this place is awesome. Damn near home made food, very friendly staff and obviously repeat locals they know by name. Doubt you would be disappointed if you stopped bye.”
“The freeway was closed and I needed a place to hang out. I saw this place and gave it a try. This is the kind of small pizza joint that used to be everywhere. Brandi was my server and she was just wonderful! I'm through her all of the time and I'll definitely be back.”
“Fantastic service and kid friendly. Korean tacos and dirty fries were delicious. Burger and dirty chicken salad so-so. Excellent dark lager. ESB was oddly sweet (to be fair she said it was a weird batch and offered any other beer). Overall very friendly and great beer at a brewpub in an old ”
“Best night of our lives. We went in simply for a meal and ended up there till 2am. Kris was at the bar serving Magic and the crowd was incredible. We will be back - Canadian guys”
“Ordered some take out while in La Grande. We had walked by the space many times in the past, but didn't realize there was a Thai food restaurant there. It sits in the basement of this cute little mall that had independent boutique stores around it.We were greated by a very friendly face. The place is spotless and very well maintained. The food was incredible! And the portion sizes are huge. Our to-go boxes were filed to the brim (def 2 meals). We purchased Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. All had a fair share of noodles, meat or tofu and veggies. Had fired chili oil to go, just had to ask. Will def be a goto when in town.”
“I was blown away by the quiche at this place. It was so full of flavor, and the custard was perfect. The only unpleasant experience was a customer trying to rush the kitchen and being a bit of a butthead about things. Sometimes waiting twenty minutes is worth it. It definitely is in this restaurant’s case. All of the baked items we tried were amazing. The drip coffee is surprisingly good as well. Nice book selection, we found two for my toddler while hanging out.”
“What can I say good quality food and kids going to college? The young people are futures, So be kind And show your appreciation for the quality service they provide.Kid-friendliness: The final cut is set up for kids and adults, The best of both worlds, plus very friendly STAFF”
“Old school diner vibe, with great breakfast. Big portions. My wife and shared a Denver omelette and it was plenty. Tasted great, and the crispy hashbrowns were delicious too. Staff were friendly. Recommended.”
“Found this place when we got stopped during a snow storm before the pass a few years ago. Literally some of the best Mediterranean food I've had. I wish they had a location in the Portland area.”
“Where we live there is no Italian food near us for over an hour. We have come here multiple times and the Italian food is VERY good. The restaurant is a little unusual to find and the tables are not fancy. Looks are deceiving. Far better food than one might imagine just making a quick window glance. Worth checking out.”
“Food and service was excellent. We had the Blu Burger and the Smoked Salmon Pasta. YUM OUTSTANDING, THE BEST EVER. Differently will stop in again when traveling through the area.”
“Had Western Burger and fries. Delicious. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. Homemade bbq sauce. Crispy golden fries.Hospitality served up from Becky.Stop here.”
“Tequila's has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for years and years. (They were El Erradero, but another family member took over the business a couple years ago and changed the name.) Excellent food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Try the Chili Colorado, you'll be pleased. Unlike some other local restaurants, they know that decent salsa requires a bit of heat. Cesar is a delightful host. We're always happy to see him.”
“Soda Blitz is kind of a scary place with great customer service. I especially love the white teddy bear that they place on one of the tables, but I was wondering if they might be able to add a black teddy or even a brown one. Also the wall is really pretty, and we appreciate the hard work that goes into decorations.I was joking about the teddy bears, do not take that into consideration.”
“Best burger in La Grande area! A bit expensive, but you get your money’s worth and then some. Huge portions, great quality, and amazing taste. One of our favorite local joints!”
