I met a friend here for Sunday lunch at 1pm. The weather was still cool so we sat inside. There aren't a lot of inside tables but we were able to find seating without difficulty. Service was quick and friendly. I had a savory chicken crepe and my friend had a lemon curd crepe. I enjoyed mine and she seemed to enjoy hers. She had a chai latte to drink; it wasn't sweet enough for her so she added about half of the whipped topping off her crepe. It was an enjoyable meal; I plan to come back sometime with my husband.

Wanted to check out a coffee shop for my birthday and this place did not disappoint! It's very hard finding gluten free cafés that aren't downtown, but their whole menu has gluten free options! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Coffee was delicious, my iced mocha tasted like a chocolate bar. My fiancé and I both got breakfast sandwiches, his regular and mine gluten free, and they were both delicious. Their gluten free bread doesn't fall apart or taste like cardboard. Will definitely be going back!

Terrible experience. Overpriced, slow service, and bland food. I would never recommend this cafe.

My wife and I came to listen to music by David Helfand and the Majestic Ensemble, including Jeff Schenck playing Bass.
We set outside at a table on a warm evening. Within 2 hours it cooled enough that people were donning wraps.
We split a BLT sandwich with fresh apple slices as our side. Both were yummy. We also had some great beer they had on tap.
A nice place with good food and service.

16 tons Cafe is a cozy place where people bring their laptops during the day and sit around with friends, talking and eating crepes of all sorts. The house coffee is strong and the beer and wine flows easily. The cafe name refers to a song about a hardworking coal miner who's in debt to the company store. The first time I heard the song Tennessee Williams was singing it and my mom who worked in a factory for much too long was sitting next to me. See you there.
