My wife and I came to listen to music by David Helfand and the Majestic Ensemble, including Jeff Schenck playing Bass.

We set outside at a table on a warm evening. Within 2 hours it cooled enough that people were donning wraps.

We split a BLT sandwich with fresh apple slices as our side. Both were yummy. We also had some great beer they had on tap.

A nice place with good food and service.
16 tons Cafe is a cozy place where people bring their laptops during the day and sit around with friends, talking and eating crepes of all sorts. The house coffee is strong and the beer and wine flows easily. The cafe name refers to a song about a hardworking coal miner who's in debt to the company store. The first time I heard the song Tennessee Williams was singing it and my mom who worked in a factory for much too long was sitting next to me. See you there.
We had excellent breakfast crepes and coffee and a relaxed atmosphere on Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Our first time there but will for sure be back.
