Agate Alley Bistro Reviews
My home away from home. I’ve worked in a lot of establishments as a host and as an employee at all levels.
This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred.
Being a regular here is being part of a family...read full review
Fantastic knife skills. Each bite carefully executed as a full balanced dish. Balanced flavors that hit each part of the palette. Got the smoked Salmon Boxty. My husband got the boar belly hash. I tasted his as well. Absolutely stellar. Thank you for doing this

Agate Alley Bistro offers delicious food with a charming atmosphere. The decor is captivating, featuring authentic vintage items, a unique chandelier, and a collection of lights that create a peaceful environment. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, with friendly service from attentive servers. Customers have noted the unique food options on the menu, with dishes like the burger and Mac and cheese receiving high praise. The pesto and tater tots remain tasty, and the Pinot noir is reasonably priced. There is a special touch with upcycled wine bottle water service, and the restaurant has amazing drinks, making it a great place for a night out. While some customers found the patio small and noted a smoky bonfire, others enjoyed the comfortable outdoor seating with eclectic decor. Service is polite and friendly, with staff accommodating food allergies. Although seating near the open door may bring pesky flies, the overall experience is memorable and worth the visit despite parking being a bit challenging. The art on the walls adds to the inviting vibe, and outside seating is available during warmer weather, including dog-friendly patio options.
