This place was awesome. I heard they had a cake that is to die for. I decided to have a rock fish and chips with a cider. Hard cider which was awesome all together. I recommend stopping by this place . It is on Territorial Highway heading towards Lorane Oregon. Just after King Estate Winery entrance.

The ambiance and view at Alesong are awesome. It made for a lovely end to my wife and I's date day in the Eugene area. We stopped in for a light bite and to sample a couple of beers. Both left us wanting more.

Only downfall is how far it is from civilization. Quite a drive on a winding road.

I had a wonderful experience. The best dark beer I have had in over ten years easily. And the food menu is amazing. And the service is incredible. I even signed up for their membership.

My wife and I love stouts, and Alesong's beers did not disappoint, they're among the best we've ever had. Their food was also excellent. Definitely worth a visit, and we'll certainly be back.

Alesong is greatly. Tasty charcuterie board and relaxing ambiance. I don't drink, but my husband says that the beer is really good.

Best beers in Eugene. I like their farmhouse ales and several types of barrel aged stouts. They also make a few other brews and some Pinot Noir wines

Awesome good times just over the hill from Eugene. Always excellent beer and food and now making great Willamette Valley wines! We had the wine flight and a great meal. Peaceful and inspiring views.

Stunning view, delicious farmhouse ales, and some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The lahgosh is to die for. Can’t wait to come back.

Perfect. It's perfect.Staff that love what they do, food that you'll remember, and drinks that'll change you.

You should have a serious talk with your driver about commercial vehicle driving etiquette.

One of my favorite local breweries. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They brew 'beautiful' barrel aged beers that are delicious - they even got me to enjoy barleywine beer! Their membership is reasonably priced, imo, if you enjoy their beers. If you're looking for more session beers or IPAs (absolutely nothing wrong with that), this probably isn't the place to check out- it's more of a 'slow down and enjoy' type of experience, which is something I think we all need from time to time.... especially when you can make it out to their countryside location.

Step one: close down the in-town Alesong on 5th with almost no notice to the public. Instead, make everyone drive out into the country to try your product, but make sure you have extremely limited hours.

Step two: make your bottles really hard to find at retailers.

Step three: offer really mediocre recent new releases.

Step four: Get bad reviews and go out of business.

Go elsewhere, these dudes are checked out.

I feel bad writing this review for Matt, one of the co-founders of this company who seems like a pretty decent fellow, but alas I must given my interactions with this brewer. I joined their club membership after discussion with Matt, he was awesome and informative, but then alas the other partner unfortunately enters the picture eventually. In a fall 2023 club membership release party, I overheard Matt lamenting to a fellow enthusiast just how hard the craft beer industry is right now......Matt's absolutely right, but the reason it's tough is because of guys like his pompous prick of a partner, Doug. Alesong makes a couple of absolutely incredible barrel aged products (the rest is average or pretty good, but nothing spectacular).Instead of interacting with customers in a symbiotic relationship, Craft Beer owners who think they are God's gift to beverages (like Doug )become emboldened with some success, and they forget that without their loyal customers, they are indeed nothing. If you want some great brews with actual true customer service, you will NOT find it with this company, they want an easy sale, nothing else.Great barrel aged brews are just not that hard to find, especially in the NW--but companies who actually want your business and are reputable merchants are much more rare. If you want to support an honest, local NW brewer, look elsewhere beyond Alesong---they are ok, but just want to move product without actually serving their customers.
