Could be a great place if the owner want a complete prick that treats employees and customers like crap. He apparently doesn’t like to pay bills on time and their poor health inspections are very telling.

Quaint antique furnishings, mismatched chairs & silverware all add to the comfortable vibe. The food is consistently amazing, and the staff, some of whom have been there as long as I can remember, always exceed expectations. If you haven't tried Ambrosia, go there. Tonight. You will be pleasantly surprised. Get there early for the steamer clams.
I was in a large party of 30. The food was great. The staff kept everyone served with drinks, appetizers, and main courses without missing a beat! Bravo!
July 2024 Update: I visited again in a small group. The food is still superb! I recommend the halibut - fantastic!
The food is soooo good!! My wine was excellent. We were slow getting served and not much ambience where we were seated up in front by window. But saying that.. I will go back and soon!! Maybe sit upstairs

Parking: There is a pay parking lot next to the restaurant but it doesn't take cards nor cash. There are large towing signs.
Birthday dinner with 4 adults and reservatio 6pm. Put us upstairs, server kept asking us if we were ready to order - felt rushed. About 6:30 to y out7pm two large parties (12 people) + table of " 6 also seated upstairs - still only one serve. Once the 3 larger parties were seated, he ignored us - never asked if the $50 entrees were ok and never brought the glass of wine. 2 young, completely untrained women were " helping" our server - only good for removing dishes and pouring water. We cut our dinner short, no dessert. Etc. Server never apologized. My husband and I tried talking to the owner on the way out - his excuse "graduation weekend". The restaurant was half full - why accept a reservation for a table for 4 celebrating a birthday knowing you would be seating 3 large parties with one server - poor management and general laziness/lack of customer service by management. Never again when we come to Eugene from Bend to see family. Thanks for ruining our birthday dinner
Parking: Son paid for parking in the Ambrosia parking lot, got electronic receipt - came out of the restaurant and $41 parking ticket on his car. Wrongly ticketed - what a classless restaurant and adjacent parking
