This is the best Indian food i’ve ever had. The service is amazing and the flavor is even better. If you want the food spicy, ask for it and you won’t be disappointed.

I don't understand the the good reviews about this place. The food is not even close to authentic and I got sick after eating it. The drinks tasted expired. The service is not even very good consider they force you to pay tips, even though it is a takeout place. The only reason this place get 2 stars instead of 1 is the portion is large and the rice is passable. I don't recommend coming here.

Really good Restaurant. Homestyle cooking.

I liked the Saag chicken curry a lot. Calm and ambient surrounding.

Food was delicious! The spicy chicken was actually spicy with so much flavor! <3 Owner even gave me extra sauce for free, cuz it was late and not many ppl like the spicy options. The only downside is a complete lack of bathrooms, not even portapoties... So just make sure you don't go when you need to go (like I did, lol) !

While for the food quality and sitting outside arrangement I would give 4/5, total would be 2/5. At the end of the eating period, I was busy in a phone call for sometime (while my family was still eating. While my family finished eating, probably it was around 5-10 mins more) and all other sitting area were unoccupied, the lady was speaking with other member in her own language stating, “they are just sitting, talking in phone and not paying!!”.
While I would have appreciated it in a friendly way, they were talking in ill-manner with slang words (in their own language). Probably they thought I do not understand their mother language (hindi); but I understood it. Later I said to the male owner, it’s not the way you should behave with your customers (he mentioned it was misunderstanding).

Update: I have seen the owners response. I would like to clarify; “they never asked us to pay even once; writing 5 times is somewhat extreme. I understand that it could be hot in the food cart, but you did not need to stay inside it. You could have explained the situation professionally one time and we could have gladly paid and left. Plus at the end I went inside your store to pay not in your cart. I don’t know what asking for more and more means. I ordered exactly the thing in the menu and just requested clarification in the spicy level. Regarding the 45 mins, if you count from the time I arrived to the time you brought the food, we ate and left, I can say yes you are correct (i had a toddler and it takes time to feed a kid). But still 45 mins past we finished eating, more lies there. I am from your culture; so was able to understand your language. Stop playing the victim card by saying I am spreading hatred. Read my review; I have not spread negativity, gave good feedback aa well as negative as per my experience. Rather than replying falsely to customers review, you should be accountable and take it as a positive feedback to improve oneself”

Easily the best! You can taste the love in the food, and the ingredients are high quality and natural. The prices for mains are a on the high side, but I think it’s fairly priced because I always have leftovers, and the food reheats splendidly. Some Indian restaurants I’ve been to or ordered from sometimes skimp on chicken when it comes to chicken dishes - not here! Certainly, the portions and quality justify the cost. The people who run the food stand and the New Frontier Market next to it (great market, btw) are very sweet and welcoming. I appreciate that they add some proper spice for me when I ask. Best Indian food I’ve ate.

We were looking for good East Indian food going through Eugene on a Saturday afternoon. Stopped at Authentic Indian Food, and I’m do glad we did. There was quite a line ahead of us, but the service is fast and so friendly. And the curry is amazing!! We’ll be back on our next trip to Eugene.
