Really delicious food and a delightful owner! Stopped through Eugene going to Portland and chose a spot at random that appeared to have vegan options. She offered to make anything on the menu suitable for us, or to just ask her if we wanted something not on the menu. When we got our food, she asked how the spice was, if we wanted extra rice, etc. She even gave my partner the couple pieces of saag tofu/sauce still inside the pot, since there weren’t other customers and she was headed back into the market next door. Chickpea potato curry was great, and the garlic naan with vegan butter was especially good. Thank you!!

Went here for the first time and the food was so good! We got the samosas, the saag paneer, and a garbanzo Dahl. It was amazing! And the women who made the food was the absolute sweetest. We will be back again soon to try more!

Best Indian food in town! So authentic, it feels like somebodies mom from India is cooking right there in front of you. Doesn’t get better than this!!
Truly best Indian food I've ever had (and I've had a lot from my hometown Seattle) Also Miss Anita, the chef, offered me a taste as she was putting the final touches on it. Who does this?!? Eugene you're so lucky!!

I drove to several places looking for paneer. Fortunately, they had what I needed. The two gentlemen running the store were friendly, and it had a nice variety of other things that I might find myself needing. One star off for some of the steep prices on things compared to other places. However, it was conveniently located to where I am staying. I look forward to trying food from the vendor out front at some point.

If you are looking for organic, homemade indian food in Eugene, this is THE SPOT! We walked up to the food cart and was greeted by the owner of the cart a truly sweet lady. Since it was so cold and there wasn’t many people she made a special meal for us! We got an order of the chili paneer, saag paneer and dal with her homemade salad and rice. Her food is beaming with love that filled our soul with warmth on the cold Eugene day. While she was making our food she recommended us to explore the little market next door to keep warm. As she was making our second dish we got to talking and found out she makes her own paneer and opened a few months ago! This is the perfect place for warm and hot indian food, a wonderful conversation, and a great meal. If you walk up the food cart and she isn’t inside try the grocery store, or call the grocery store ahead to place your order! I would argue BEST INDIAN FOOD IN EUGENE! Support your local small businesses and your soul will thank you! We will be back again and again!Vegetarian options: The owner herself is vegetarian, so you really can’t go wrong here.Kid-friendliness: Cute picnic tables outside, very family friendly! Especially great on a warm day, but don’t let the cold stop you!
