Pretty decent dumplings. Beef noodle soup was so so—very tough meat, not braised long enough.

This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.

The older waiter wasn’t very pleasant, and the hygiene could definitely be better

Absolutely delicious!!! And I don't say that a lot. The baos and dumplings were amazing. I think the best I've ever had. The flavors and textures were just so good.

I knew I ordered too much food for myself because I really wanted to try 3 dishes but I've never felt so sad that I couldn't finish it all! (I won't be at a fridge for too long to take it to go).

This is excellent, authentic Chinese food served in a clean, welcoming environment at reasonable prices.

The vegetarian baozi was the best bao I’ve ever had. Not only was the dough the perfect texture, but the mix inside was so good that instead of tasting like a collection of fillings, it was a balanced mix that would have been delicious on its own.

I also tried the scallion cake, which was a good deal for $6 and turned out to be a very yummy treat.

Service is Eastern style, so if you aren’t familiar, family style dining is welcome and they will bring out the first dish that is ready from the kitchen immediately rather than holding the dish for the entire order to be ready like Western restaurants. As long as you understand that not everything comes out at once, this is a benefit since each dish comes out of the kitchen hot and at peak freshness.

The staff was efficient and helpful. They seemed appropriately staffed, which is nice because it allowed for comfortable service and it didn’t feel like workers were being taken advantage of.

Finally, each table has soy sauce, black vinegar, and chili crisp already set out for you. This is so legit and I loved being able to add these flavors to my food. The chili crisp was spicy, but not mala, which kept everything Northern Chinese. Sichuan food is so popular right now that it was very nice to have regional Chinese food that wasn’t loaded with hot and numbing spice for a change.

Lovely employees and best bao I’ve ever had! The bao are incredibly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!! The seaweed salad has a lovely garlic flavor and ripe crunch :) 100% recommend

Waiter didn't check on me once the food was delivered. The Mapo Tofu was lifeless and bland. Tofu in watered down gravy doesn't seem like Mapo Tofu.. I was disappointed, this dish is fantastic at the Springfield location

Bao bao house is my favourite place to get bao buns in Eugene! I would highly recommend having the pan fried dumplings if you like the extra crunch. They are wonderful and their portions of fried rice are big!

Came here for dinner before a concert at Cuthbert (Weird Al!), and we were incredibly happy with our choice. The bao and dumplings were very tasty. We asked for recommendations, and the waiter suggested to try the Shang Hai and vegetarian baos, and the triple delight dumplings. We also ordered some shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh and excellent, are already contemplating returning.
