The greatest vegetarian Bao I've ever had
Bao Bao House is now among my favorite restaurants, I can’t comprehend how delicious it was! The beef curry bao was well-shaped, perfectly soft, and paired nicely with the freshly squeezed soy milk. I also thoroughly enjoyed the fried rice. I highly recommend this place, it’s number one in Eugene for me!

Got the curry beef bao buns. They were delightful. Nice crisp on the bottom, fluffy and chewy on top. They were mildly seasoned, both salt and curry-wise. I dipped mine in soy sauce and they were perfect. I also got the pork wonton soup. The broth was perfectly salted and flavorful, as were the wontons. Service was attentive, but extremely dry. Still gave a 5, because I came for food, not conversation. The portion sizes were pretty good too, 6 or 7 buns in the order and around 10 wontons. After tip my total was $28. I will be able to make, at least, another meal out of my leftovers. I will definitely be back to try more goodies next time I’m in Eugene.

I told the server I was vegan multiple times and confirmed the dishes we ordered were vegan. I was eating the vegetable and black pepper dish and found beef in the sauce. The servers confirmed it was in fact beef.
Got takeout and it was awesome. Loved the curried beef bao and the bbq pork bao. My son loved his wonton soup. Also tried the sour plum juice and it was delicious! I also loved the children’s artwork on the wall. The only thing that made it undesirable was so many people congregating outside, doing drugs openly and passing out, losing their dogs and chasing after them, etc. It definitely did not feel like a safe area. So glad we didn’t bring our kids.

What a outstanding restaurant. I don't often have many layovers with Alaska Airlines down in Eugene. This restaurant was a gem in a sea of choices.
