What an unexpected gem! We ended up celebrating a birthday in town (visiting from northern CA) and chanced upon this chefs tasting menu. Inventive and delicious, French sensibility with a range of unexpected flavors from Asian to Mediterranean. Cute space and friendly attentive service.

This is a lovely, cozy bistro run by dedicated foodies who seem to love their jobs. I had an absolutely fantastic cassoulet, and the wine pairings were really well thought out. Interesting cocktail recipes I haven’t seen other places. Definitely will come back.

Fun, inviting atmosphere with fun flavors that were a first for me! This was my second visit, and it was on Halloween night. The staff and clientele were spectacularly spooky. Fresh flowers adorned the dishes. The oysters were so good… my son even had two! The ribs and the dessert were fantastic!!!

We've been coming to Eugene for over 30 years to visit my parents. This dining experience was, by far, the best we've ever had in Eugene. Started with oysters and bread, both excellent. We then shared the Little Gem salad, with pistachio crumble and a decadent lemon dressing. My wife had the seared scallops, which were amazing but came out only luke warm. I had the Knee Deep Filet minion with caramelized onions and potatoes, the filet was cooked and seared to perfection. We finished with the flourless chocolate cake, topped with delicious raspberry puree. We will be back!
Had my husband’s birthday celebrated with a family dinner. The service, cocktails and food were top notch. I highly recommend his restaurant experience.

My husband took me to Bar Purlieu to celebrate our wedding anniversary and literally everything was excellent: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I'd like to give special recognition to our server, Claire, and the rest of the staff who stopped by to wish us happy anniversary, clear plates, bring drinks, or drop off food. The service was top notch and we enjoyed the friendly, genuine interactions with everyone! The food was also fantastic! We ordered, shared, and loved the bread and butter, little gem salad, scallops, and filet. We finished the meal with wonderful decaf coffee and flourless chocolate cake.
