We've been coming to Eugene for over 30 years to visit my parents. This dining experience was, by far, the best we've ever had in Eugene. Started with oysters and bread, both excellent. We then shared the Little Gem salad, with pistachio crumble and a decadent lemon dressing. My wife had the seared scallops, which were amazing but came out only luke warm. I had the Knee Deep Filet minion with caramelized onions and potatoes, the filet was cooked and seared to perfection....
Thank you, Bar Purlieu! Had a gathering of family for happy hour cocktails and appetizers and we were treated so well! All drinks and apps came speedily and were delicious. The reservation process was simple and the service was excellent. I will be back! Ramona
My husband took me to Bar Purlieu to celebrate our wedding anniversary and literally everything was excellent: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I'd like to give special recognition to our server, Claire, and the rest of the staff who stopped by to wish us happy anniversary, clear plates, bring drinks, or drop off food.
