Great food, prices are good and people are nice.
I have loved Barry’s for 20 years! Quality has gone down on my favorite item, their quiche. Smaller more expensive and either lacking in crust or my last piece was very, very brown on top. They assured me it wasn’t burned. Very close to being burned and the result of over cooking it was a very tough and chewy top. Not willing to pay again for poor quality. The customer shouldn’t have to pay for errors in baking. Thank you!
I've known Barry since 1985 when he was working for Humble Bagel. Always the best food!!!

Barry's Espresso Bakery & Deli is a unique Jewish deli in a safe neighborhood with plenty of outdoor seating. The onion bialy with cream cheese is a must-try, light and flaky with a homemade taste. The matzo ball soup is loaded with real veggies and well-seasoned matzo balls. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make this spot a great choice for a delicious breakfast sandwich on challah bread or the tasty breakfast special, along with some delectable hammantashen.
The menu features a variety of delicious items, from the fluffy and not too sour mousse cheesecake with a hard crust, to the peanut butter bliss bar and the seeded challah roll with a healthy serving of cream cheese. The coffee with amaretto syrup is also worth a try.
Customers praise the restaurant as one of Eugene's hidden gems, with delicious made-to-order menu items and baked goods. Visitors enjoy the explosive flavors and struggle to not visit every single day during their stays in the area.
