I just got a drip coffee which was fine and not too over priced. As far as this being a good coffee shop to study in, the space is nice and not to busy, but they play the music kind of loudly in here so it’s not my favorite.

Almost $9.00 for a scone and a small hot tea. That's it. I'm not a Rockefeller so my Black Rock days are over. And the scone was stale and fell apart. McDonald's has better prices and better products. Why do they think they can charge such awful prices?

My girlfriend and I regularly purchase BRCB's overpriced coffee and bagels whenever we head to Portland since it's right next to the I5. They began excessively limiting their cream cheese a couple months back, which led to a handful of disappointing experiences before I found out you could get an appropriate amount of cream cheese by requesting "extra" cream cheese when ordering. I happened to be running late today so I trusted the staff when they handed me my bagel and repeated "Here is your bagel with EXTRA cream cheese". I hit the road, picked up my bagel, and saw the bagel in the attached photo. This is such an insult. They stole my money and ruined my day. This would be a joke, even if I hadn't requested extra (aka, a 'reasonable' amount of) cream cheese. Avoid these people, they clearly don't care.
UPDATE: I finished my review and tried my mocha, which is the worst mocha I've had in my life. It's burnt and bitter. This is the worst experience I've ever had at any coffee bar. Just...wow...

Don't ask for a flat lid when you have whip on your iced drink. Lady completely lost it and dumped half my drink out on the floor to switch it out. Paid $6 for $3 worth of coffee. This is why I prefer Bro's.

This location is insanely dirty. Ordered a bagel sandwich drove around the corner to take a bite with a nice long hair baked into the cheese. Took it inside and the assistant manager thought it was funny, and got mad at me and said I was rude because I told her I didn’t appreciate that when I was calm and collected the entire time, as I I had to now double back and spend my time doing this. Make sure they scan your app because the guy didn’t scan my points apparently, according to the assistant manager, but then she said he did, so not really sure on that confusion. Took over 20 minutes just to get a refund and she was completely unapologetic after calling her regional. the assistant manager made sure to go behind the counter really quick and call the regional when I said I wanted to put in a complaint. Not good service, the inside was dirty, and who wants a Hair baked into their sandwich? Not to mention she told me the girl who did it was on break and she walked back in and laughed when I told her what happened. No apology, no refund of the coffee they burnt. Super gross.
