I have lived in the Eugene/Springfield area over 23 years and have driven past Buddy's many times thinking it was only a hamburger joint. I was severely incorrect! Upon the recommendation of the eye center across the street I went in for breakfast.Food was absolutely amazing! Service was even better! A true gem!

So much food for the money. I have been to buddy's diner many times, and it never disappoints. I had just had major surgery, and could only have liquids, which was a bummer, my mom got a combo in which she could choose 3 items from a list. She chose biscuits and gravy, hash brown potatoes, and 2 pancakes. There was so much food! She loved everything, and had a large amount of leftovers to take home. This diner is always busy, and I will be back as soon as I can eat!Parking: Not many spots to park, the other businesses in the lot only have parking for their customers, we drove around a couple times before someone pulled out

Ordered maple French toast, sugary maple icing on top was too sweet. Friend's chicken fried steak seemed like grease saturated hamburger with tasteless gravy on top. Wasn't edible. Should have stuck with plain bacon and eggs, I'd guess.

They kicked me and my husband out for not tipping all the time when we didn’t have extra money but when we did we tipped and on top of it all they kicked us out in front of everyone and laughed about it and just to let people know they have ants the go all over some of the tables and watch out for hair in your food they don’t us hair nets

We got there and noticed a booth was open and requested it. The entitled waitress in the back with the overalls glasses and short hair insisted it goes to a party of 1 who just walked in claiming a party of 6. We ate our meal and by the time the check came the waitress finally moved the man to a smaller booth only for his party to show up late. Just wow!

We have actually gone in several times to make the attempt to actually have a good experience. The food unfortunately was just okay and the favorite dish was the chef salad which was not cooked by the restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty cute. The experience always becomes poor due to the servers. There are two, in my opinion, that are very rude, incompetent, immature, lousy and just unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We've gone here twice and both times the food was fantastic. The first time, it was on Sunday and we had about a 20 minute wait. After we got seated, the service was fast and efficient, keeping our beverages full and hot. After we got our food, I was surprised by two things. One, the food came out fast! Two, the food was hot and delicious. This was such a change from most of the other places we've visited. The second visit was much of the same: Friendly staff and amazing food! Buddy's Diner has a lifetime customer. Keep being awesome!
