The only/best place in Eugene for smoky babaghanoush and fresh fried falafel. Just make sure you aren't in a rush bc they are very popular and food takes awhile. The guy who runs it is the nicest, and is brimming with goodwill every time we go. My partner always gets the Falafel pita with a side of Falafel, while I always get the Falafel saj with side of babaghanoush. For 2 yrs we have not been able to move beyond to try them chicken or anything else bc we love falafel and this is the next best option to making it at home ourselves. Know that this tastes best when fresh. Once we doubled our usual order to enjoy a fuss free dinner and found it nowhere near as good as lunch, the falafel had soaked up the sauces and were somehow dry. Atmosphere/service at food cart is always 5 stars, but atmosphere for this popular food pod area is not so, hence the 4 stars. Food pod is in a zero shade parking lot that in the Eugene summer is unbearable. Shared benches are rickety and not very clean, if they are available. If it rains, there is no sheltered seating.

This lunch was sooo satisfying! I had never had anything like it. I ordered the chicken Saj wrap and it was so flavorful, fresh, and filling. I chose hummus as my side from a long list of options. I am visiting town and was so happy to have stumbled upon this truck. Would definitely make this a regular stop if I lived in the area!

We ordered two Giro’s one with the traditional bread and one with a wrap. I thought I was just ordering a sandwich, but I ended up ordering the combo. I don’t bother with the combo (serious don’t bother with the combo side is more like a garnish) and don’t bother with the sandwich. Very uneventful meal. Bland. Nice sitting area parking is limited in downtown Eugene.

Yes! Great service, prompt, speedy, and helpful. Gyro was so flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Right amount of everything. Having trouble deciding on a side, just ask, they steered me towards the right choice based on things I like. They were right!
