In our opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Eugene. The food is always wonderful and the staff is helpful and quick to serve. We come from over a hour away, but will gladly make the trip to enjoy ourselves at this unique restaurant.

We have been loyal customers of Cafe Med since it opened. We come quite frequently and love the ambiance and the food. The servers and staff are friendly and know us as frequent customers. Last night Monday Dec 1st. at 6:30 was busy and they only had 2 waiters. We were the only table out in the atrium and we noticed our server wasn't as attentive as usual but acceptable. I'll chalk it up to the lack of enough servers. Our wine didn't come out until after our shared plate came out but our friends cocktails were served quickly. The food though was as usual delicious and well prepared.

I have dined at the Med Cafe in the past, but stopped going for a while for no particular reason. My spouse and I decided to go last evening to celebrate my birthday, and even though they have changed the menu, it's still one of the best places to get very good Italian food. I particularly enjoyed their seared halibut. I'd also like to highlight their excellent service. Our server Sebastian was outstanding.

The ambiance: amazing! Went with the family and it’s so cozy in there!
The service: super attentive. Our server was very knowledgeable about every part of the menu and explained it thoroughly. Really cool pronunciation of all the menu items (I butchered everything 😂)
The food: OMG, the food! We shared a margherita pizza and a seasonal polenta appetizer —it was fresh and amazing. I had the seasonal mushroom ravioli with a truffle cream sauce. My partner had the squid ink pasta. His parents each had one of the chicken dishes. We then shared two chocolate forward desserts. We left stuffed and happy.
Our server kept apologizing for the speed of service but we were very happy to just chill out and visit and enjoy it all.
My partner and I look forward to returning and enjoying this establishment again as a couple. I highly recommend it!

The food was okay and portions are small. Did not like bread. Caesar dressing was non existent on salad. Wine selection was good. Chicken dish was dry. Did not stay for dessert.
